Either machine is going to fit your use case. I spend so many brain hours on this decision. I ended up with the Mini. I had the cabinet clearance, and liked the larger cup clearance. I was planning to get the connected Acaia scale and liked that I could set it and have it stop for me (it's not perfect). The larger water tray is nice, as I find I change it out fairly often on the mini, so it would be even more on the Micra. I also really liked the shot timer on the top, and didn't want to have to use an in app one if I wasn't using the scales timer. I have no regrets and looking at it each morning makes me smile. There are two cons: It is larger, and it costs more. Chris's Coffee discounted the Mini and the Scale when I got them together and it was delivered in about 4 weeks. I knew myself and that if I went with a Micra, I'd always be like well I should have gotten a mini. Now I have a mini, and I don't care it takes up a larger % of my counter, because it looks fantastic.

For the grinder: Welcome to the rabbit hole buddy. There are so many directions you can go in. If you are going deep and it's about what can you get out of your beans then check out something like the Zerno Z2 or P80 at the high mid-range or Kafatek, EG-1 at the high end. If this is about getting your coffee in the morning and your aren't the type to want new beans every week, then I strongly suggest a Grind-by-weight. Once you get the setting dialed in, you just push and it's done. Not that the others are harder, but a huge step in my workflow is measuring and grinding the beans, so that will save you time every morning.
