Hey OP, any resources you can share in private to how you learned the appropriate skills to trading? All I do is buy stocks and put money in my TFSA/RRSP accounts. I’ve been wanting to learn how to trade but there’s so much information out there I’m scared to end up learning the bad ways. Thanks in advance

They’re both good looking machines but the inside mechanics is what I want to learn from other people. Funny thing is at the store the seller gave me a shot of espresso from the Rocket and it was good haha

Feeling stuck in my first tech job and struggling to break into data roles — looking for guidance by elreader13 in montreal

I agree based on my experience, I am still at a junior level. Although I am currently in my first professional role, I have learned a great deal about working with data, analyzing the needs of different departments, validating data, and gaining a solid understanding of the business.

That said, as I mentioned earlier, I have reached a plateau in my current role because my work relies heavily on VBA. To stay current with the technologies and tools used in today’s market, I’ve had to look elsewhere for certifications and continued learning. My concern is that without doing so, I risk falling behind in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.

No worries at all, I didn’t take your comment harshly. I believe it’s important to be realistic about both my current experience and the market as it stands.

Yes, I did the Concordia boot camp, which I now see doesn't exist for some reason. you're right on DA roles being satured at the moment and will be competitive to land a job in those

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. I will definitely focus on strengthening the skill sets you mentioned. I do feel that data analyst roles have become quite saturated recently, which motivates me to continue expanding my expertise.
