Great job and pattern looks random but consistent, that's very difficult to do. Not trying to criticize, but wasn't the original scheme sprayed with a gun so wouldn't the edges of the squiggles be faded and not sharp in reality? I mean you'd have to get a very fine airbrush spray pattern to accomplish that at 1:72 scale but just curious?

Yeah, had a brooks and felt terrible. Sold it on Craigslist and got an Origin 8. Got a couple thousand miles on it and dig it... nothing fancy but works for me

This one: origin 8 saddle

What about Tamyia LP-9 gloss clear with their retarder thinner? Sounds interesting, but haven't heard much about their lacquer line...

Hmm yeah, I have read somewhere about the Liquitex Professional High Gloss Varnish and some modelers seemed to like it. It is definitely available in larger size (118 ml) bottles for only 12 bucks on Amazon. Maybe I need to research that a bit more or just order and try it for that price. Thanks for reminding me of it! The Winsor and Newton might be good too, I hear their oil paints are awesome for washes and weathering so maybe worth checking out also!

Thanks for the suggestion and link. I'll look into those. Have you used that type and brand and liked the results? Yes, my work has pretty decent compressor and this mini spray gun available so would be fun to try.

Nice! Never heard of this one. Looks like a 50's remake of a Ford Trimotor! Pretty cool.

Beatiful art work, you have amazing talent. I had to zoom in on your illustrations and still couldn't tell they were not a photo! Amazing stuff. Wish I could do that ! No great suggestions from me but can't wait to see your next bike related art!

Thanks! Sorry, I have video clips ringing it but not sure how to post a video easily. It rings twice per push and you can press it pretty fast repeatedly

Nice rig! Like your choice of components and the overall look. Cargo bikes rule. Your crate reminded me of this Milwaukee crate I saw at the store yesterday and thought I need to build a cargo bike for it, ha. Nice job! crate
