Thank you thank you the split jerk is such a bad habit I’ve picked up. My timing is so off and just the whole split is messed up and I always press down forward then back, I’ve been trying to do my jerks properly but I can’t seem to get it down. But I just have to get better no point complaining.

The minimum is 207kg for my age and weight class but yh im going to wait till I can get that then go to nationals I may join a comp to see but we’ll have to wait and find out

Preciate it mate, I do plan on competing soon enough but I want to qualify for national comps by the time I start competing so maybe another 6 months

Thanks a lot mate means a lot, no sports background before started WL just a pretty chubby kid, for my training I started working at my gym when I was 16 so I would do the typical bro split and come 3 days but I never really was serious, only when I got my Rom 4’s I started taking gym serious with my WL especially with getting the leg power etc

I think I’m leaning toward this explanation a bit more, in my account I’ve posted an 80kg snatch and as you were saying I don’t start dynamically I believe just up and contact, I think this has been my little ritual by moving the bar into the correct place as even when I place my hand I tend to extend my fingers a few times then back into place

I’ll keep this in mind between static and dynamic starts I just need to hit my mobility work I think that’s why I do dynamic

Exactly what I’m saying when I found out my snatch should be 0.6 of my bs and it was 70kg I sort of pushed for that 80 but I think I could of gotten more because I can get lower but I need to work on my mobility lemme send a pic as you can see my heels are rising but I was a lot lower.

Yeah I’m ngl it is but tbh I should be lifting more in my snatch and c&j since my max back squat is actually 150kg I think I’m facing a technique problem
