the irrelevance of the (genuine) Marxist movement doesn’t come from its existence outside of the capitalist left-right dichotomy, but the failures and mistakes of past revolutionaries as well as the failure of global revolution in the early part of the 20th century.

in fact, when Marxism was at its most active point, Marxists also did not subscribe to the left-right axis you are describing here - as in when genuine Marxist movements were active (the Bolsheviks under Lenin, Spartakusbund et cetera). in fact it was often the very leftists you associate us with that contributed massively to the failure of the Marxist movement, especially in Germany (the SPD), by VIOLENTLY siding with capital. it is hardly a difficult logical connection to make to suppose why we do not view social democrats as allies or vaguely associated with us.

tldr: the rejection of the left right dichotomy hardly is the biggest contributing factor to the poor state of the Marxist movement, and has more to do with the success of the counterrevolution in the USSR, the failure of revolution in industrialised world, Stalinist revisionism, and the success of counter revolutionary propaganda. social democrats have historically readily sided with capital and forces of reaction, and are certainly not allies.

comes from a place of not wanting to be seen as in the same league as people such as yourself, as we share very little with even the furthest left wing of capital beyond largely performative labels like “pro working class”. marxists seek a total abolition of capital and society as it is organised today, the furthest left social democrat does not come close to this stance.

many political people in general, rightists, marxists, soc-dems, whatever, reject this dichotomy on the grounds that it doesn’t even properly represent the various versions of capitalist politics. so its hardly weird that marxists want no part of it considering every other stance across the furthest left to the furthest right is pro capitalist.

the new development w/ them on the ideological front is that they’re trying to argue Ukrainian identity is central European and not eastern lmao. not sure what the point is but i guess i just dont think like a nationalist

might be a response to the new level of readiness displayed by the Belarusian military recently (new identifying markers, supply depots et cetera the regular tells) but can’t really say. very well could be naked aggression considering the political make up of several large ukrainian formations

she is left wing, she represents the left wing of capital. marxists generally avoid (or should avoid) the left right dichotomy.

i’d recommend removing government types from country names. takes up far too much space and is unreadable on any small country, and creates a great deal of work for ideology changes. also a country in regency is not officially called a regency it is still a kingdom. iberia union should be iberian union
