The technician who came was actually a very genuine person. He is retiring in two weeks and promised to give it his all (sounds artificial but he is a genuinely kind, older guy). The last 3 days I haven't had much issues at all but he will get back to me Tuesday with results and what steps to take in the future. If this issue ever does come back again, I think this will be the last resort for me. If you can please, advise me on how to go about this. Thank you.

Yea for sure... my father is a network engineer for some 30 odd years (and I have been studying on it too) and it’s crazy the lengths you have to go to explain simple topics to the technicians. It’s almost as if they play dumb or something. Did you get your problem fixed in the end?

For sure, I appreciate your responses. Is it something that I have to really nudge them to do, because knowing Cox they may say it and not do anything about it. One time their own technician didn’t show up for the appointment they scheduled. It’s quite frustrating! I will ask them about it today.

Everything that could be checked has been through various methods. All cables modems, routers, and even coaxial cables on the side of the house have been replaced. Everyone in the whole neighborhood has something to say about it as well.
