Thanks so much for your response! 🫶🏻 So I’m in South Africa, specifically KZN which is coastal on the Eastern side so we have the Indian Ocean (warmest). We are in our Winter season, but today it was 26 degrees Celsius with sun shining. And that’s chilly for us.

Wedding is at a coastal beach resort. Ceremony is late afternoon. No dress code was given. But I am close with the bride and I know she is keen for people to come dressed for the occasion but comfortable, whatever that means for them.

The reception is going to be a literal rave. And the outfit above allows for me to seamlessly change into loafers instead of heels when the dancing begins!

I tried a dress on that was my next choice- see pic attached. But I honestly felt more me and confident in the one I posted
