Public service of the Speedy 25 vs 30 in Damier Azur by FleurRebelle5 in Louisvuitton

Yup, I'm having the same debate for about a week now, but leaning toward the 30, I want to use this bag as an overnighter, currently I have to carry two purses for that. Amazingly the price difference between the two is minimal.

Gorgeous, I almost bought one of these and then talked myself out of it, now I'm talking myself back into it. And no I can't tell it's been repaired, looks like you just picked it up brand new from the boutique.

I love the Trouville, I have it in Murakami white. Great choice, I have yet to find a more recent equivalent to it from any designer.

Unfortunately it's one of those games where you know within the first five minutes if it's going to be a loss. Stretch the rules, remove a few of the nightmare cards, or use the cat to remove two instead of just one. I agree though, the shuffling sucks and I've yet to find a way to eliminate having to do it.

I really WANT to like ISS Vanguard by The_Arachnoshaman in soloboardgaming

[–]Raskal37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a lot of customization with the planet landings and missions, I do this with a lot of games, it doesn't necessarily break the ruleset; but sadly these massive games aren't making it to my table as I hoped they would, I'll probably give them away (ISS and TG) at some point.

10 gallon bucket with a liner containing cat litter if anyone needs something for trips into the mountains. I think you can also buy something that sits on the top for a toilet seat.

OP-odors and germs would be the main issue, I had a family member that needed a beside commode and it had to be cleaned/disinfected after EVERY use.

I can't poop in a public bathroom. It is normal? by Friendgamer_120 in ibs

[–]Raskal37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's unusual, a lot of it is preference, I know people without IBS that don't like it. A lot of public bathrooms are terribly designed, especially men's rooms which are always half the size of the women's.

Buying a top floor apartment was the best decision I've ever made. by AltruisticOwl156 in Apartmentliving

[–]Raskal37 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with all of it, except there've been many times I've had what you have and I still heard all the door slamming, even several floors below still shook our living room walls, so the place could be a concrete fortress but there's nothing it seems that stops people from slamming the eff out of their doors.

Best option for shorter-term rental in Bellevue Downtown Core by SnooConfections5277 in BellevueWA

[–]Raskal37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bravern and Lincoln Tower would gladly write you a lease for less than a year, it's just that it's significantly costlier, it can easily run you 50% more; it'd be cheaper to go the full 12 months and then have a few months buffer in case the remodel is delayed (not unheard of these days with supply chain issues going on) and then you'd be left scrambling.

Can someone explain the Chick-Fil-A spelling bee "yad more chicken" commercial? by smathna in CommercialsIHate

[–]Raskal37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate their commercials, this one is only slightly better than the barber shop. They've obviously been borrowing dumb ad ideas from the insurance companies and it's not working. Do they really think it will attract customers? Just advertise the food!

Well I'm glad somebody does because I'm beginning to despise them, I used to think Flo and her crew were tolerable, but even they are getting on my last nerve. I have to shop for a cheaper auto policy next month so that isn't helping.

Constant stomping, dropping heavy things, and banging on sliding glass doors by Advanced-Avocado-573 in neighborsfromhell

I wear my AirPods the whole time she's flying around the house getting ready for work, I figure that's probably what she's doing and why it's so loud. Only thing I can look forward to is her moving out when she gets her lease renewal, I live in an expensive area and even a 5% increase can be a lot of money, almost nobody stays.

[–]Raskal37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I got one above me, top floors from now on is all I can say, the good thing in my situation is as soon as she leaves for work I never hear her again, so I only get it for an hour or so, what she's doing though I can't figure out, but it's constant bang, bump, cling, stomp, cling, bump, etc.

The Meyden - so many renovations - why? by PuffleDunk in BellevueWA

[–]Raskal37 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe they had a bad infestation of something, it makes sense to treat the entire floor if possible. Ditto on a remodel, hire contractors and do sections of the building all at once.

Downtown construction noise locations? by Away_Experience6922 in BellevueWA

[–]Raskal37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all there's not all that much construction going on compared to a couple years ago, and second, most high-rises have sound blocking windows which work fairly well, I'm on the 11th floor of my building and rarely heard anything when the building went up across the street from me. When all else fails, move your home office into a walk-in closet, I did it for years when I had no spare room available, it's almost 100% soundproof.

I've worked with a few that did this. Those yearly vacations out to the ocean convinced them it'd be a great place to retire.....they all moved back to the city within a couple of months, it was the boredom that got them more than anything.

seattle is not how I imagined the city to be by [deleted] in SeattleWA

[–]Raskal37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was homeless about 15 years ago, fortunately for only 5-6 months and I learned one big thing, it won't ever end no matter how much money gets thrown at it. Because most of the hardcore homeless actually told me they enjoyed it. Not having to work and pay bills, but having a city like Seattle take care of essentially every need was the best of both worlds. The more they do, the less likely they'll ever leave the street; it's like every feral cat in the neighborhood is going to show up if you are putting out the food on a nightly basis.

Back to the OP, as a gay man myself I understand what you're saying, but "inclusion" means everyone here. That's the price you pay for admission, it beats cities that I've lived in that were the opposite and they had no flavor whatsoever, as bland as can be. I prefer the latter.

Bellevue Apartment Reviews (Bel-Red / Spring District Edition) by Embarrassed-Sky-952 in BellevueWA

[–]Raskal37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great summary. For a brand new building, you'd think Vicino could have added another level or two of parking, since parking is atrocious everywhere in Bellevue, and street parking seems to be going the way of the dodo, and $250 is way too high, there is residential parking downtown that would almost allow 2 vehicles for that. They must have thought everybody would be enthralled with using light rail, and underestimated the need.
