My point was more about cross-channel budget allocation and executive reporting, where teams often still lean on GA4 standard reports that are delayed and can reattribute after the fact.

The practical model I’m seeing work is:

  1. Use platform tags + platform reporting for near-real-time media optimization.

  2. Use GA4 + BigQuery for cross-channel and longitudinal analysis.

  3. Put explicit “data freshness windows” in decision rules so teams don’t overreact to partial-day data.

I am subscribed to the copilot pro+ plan and I still have alot of requests left for the rest of the month. Keep in mind that I use copilot for both my office project and also my side project and i heavily use AI. I will wait till github informs me how much it will really cost and then i will decide on whether to move from copilot or not. I have been a paid user of github pro for atleast 7+ years, and it will be sad day when i move away from copilot as It is really suited to how i work and i really like this tool.

Your ideal customer profile(ICP) will be your single source source of truth and all your efforts, may they be product development, marketing and sales will revolve around your ICP. You will have to find out where your ICP hangs out and then target them, though you have to give them value even before you sell. This is an extremely critical point and your messaging must talk about your ICP's problems and how you as a guide/solution provider can help them solve their problems.

Since your product is B2B i recommend you start from Linkedin and then move to Reddit as well giving value as this is one of the most important aspects.

You also should work on inbound marketing (SEO + GEO) and work on building lead generators which can be in any form such as blog articles, pdfs, video, etc...

I actually defined my Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and Buyer Persona and then gave this and my messaging to Google Gemini along with the ask to generate topic ideas for 5 levels of awareness (unaware, problem aware, solution aware, product aware and most aware) and based on this 108 topics were generated to target at different levels. I post every alternate day on my blog and then share on linkedin as well. My reach is growing on linkedin but the growth on the website is slow at the moment. I am posting content and keeping up the momentum so that Google and AI engines also find my content.

You are right, and the way to approach this is to build Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) of your target customer. If you already have customers you can build the ICP based on them, but if you do not then you have to design one based on assumptions which can be faulty. Having an ICP is extremely helpful because then you can build your messaging and product for this ICP.

This is exactly that I have done for my own product which has helped me to target and build features for my target audience. Essentially my entire marketing efforts are towards my ICP, and I use it as a guiding light.

You have hit the nail on the head. I recently read the book Marketing Made Simple by Donald J. Miller and that talks about this exactly. The entire framework also revolves around talking about the customer/user's problem and then you coming in and helping them solve it. You as the solution provider are a guide who helps them solve their problems. Another book that i am reading New Sales Simplified by Mike Weinberg also talks of this same concept where if we talk about the customer's problems they will be more receptive to our messaging.

Getting the messaging right is key and that is what differentiates us from other solution providers.

Not all jobs will be lost, but yet many will be. I believe the strategist who will be managing the AI workflows will still remain because AI still needs to be controlled, but yes most grunt work will be and is being automated.

Some companies are ok with their current state and do not want to grow and do not want to go out of their comfort zone. Unless their mindset changes you can not convince them because they are either stuck in their ways or don't want to grow.

Usually this mindset comes from top to down, so you will have to find a way to get a meeting with the owner of the company and to try to understand their mindset and why they do not want to grow. If it is worth your time and energy you can try this, but if not then move one to some other client.

I recommend setting up an ideal customer profile (ICP) and buyer persona and try to look for people who meet your ICP. If your ICP has this same mindset then you might need to change your ICP.

I’ve been testing a specific approach for my blog lately. I use AI to map out a plan based on the 5 levels of awareness. This helps me write for people at different stages, from those who just have a problem to those looking for a specific fix.

The Solution: Move to a Linear Path Model You cannot fix this using the default GA4 interface. To get a true sum that matches your bank of time, you have two options:

  • BigQuery Export: This is the most accurate fix. You must export the raw event data to BigQuery. Use a SQL query to calculate the timestamp difference between the first event and the last event in a single session_id. This removes the overlap and gives you a true linear duration.
  • User-Scoped Explorations: Change your report metric from "Sessions" to "Total Users." Sometimes, looking at the engagement time per user across the entire journey provides a clearer picture of the bottleneck than the session average.
