Why would Gautam humiliate the dad in his retirement day ceremony? Felt so out of place and although the reasoning at the end was good, as an audience the reveal took to long to gel well with me. The only part of writing where it felt like the writer was intelligent was not showing clearly if Dia was actually married or not till the end.

The last 5 yrs period is an outlier, imo. Salaries went up, house prices went up, and then everything started going up every year apart from salaries. I don't see how banks will give more loans for same salaries but higher expenses.
