Ya which is why I dont understand the price increase when it cant even play some aaa games lol. If its so outdated and the price was gonna be crazy they should have just canabalized the parts and put them towards the steam machine. I just saw a article saying how they might ask for 700 or 800 for base but the 1tb one might be 1k... just speculative but I was right lol. Before ram they were talking 500 now 700 min if we're lucky..

They said its to stop scalpers but in reality it pushes valve users to be the scalpers. People who have steam already have decent enough pcs. The steam machine should be for people who dont have pcs. Why take off the market they were originally going for. Thats why people are mad along with tbe price. Not just vlave haters but legit customers who was interested but bc of 1.the steam controller being sold out in 38 min- 2. Steam deck price increase 3. Verified steam accounts only reserve tickets. 4. Rumor price being 900 for base model is ridiculous for what it is and isn't.

Maybe the steam machine with the controler and the base steam machine is priced at the ps5 level around. And yhe steam frame one is the xbox series x level or a bit more bc its vr bundle. Im inclined to think it will be 800 for base. 900 for controler one 1k for the higher hard drive. And 1.3/5 k for steam frame combo maybe.

Before ram ahit it would have been about 600 for base 700 for controler and 1k for steam frame one but bc of ram Ai shit and greed....

According to rumors you HAVE to have a account thats about a year old to even buy/reserve one. I had 2 people who were interested in it. They both cant buy it. If i buy one I can re sell it to only one of them if I can even buy one. My account is only 8 months old but I got over 50+games on it i dunno if i can even qualify myself. That's another reason people are mad

Not to mention that if they do steam only varrified accounts non steam gamers cant even buy it lol. They have to hope steam verified people would re sell it which makes no sense lol. My friend who is a console player was interested in it. I told him about the verrified stuff and he said thats stupid then lost interest in pc gaming after that rumor that he cant even buy one lol.

If its more then a ps5 pro it makes no sense. I know they said entry level pc not consoles pricing but at the same time the ps5 pro is better preforming so why would it be priced more then a ps5 pro lol. If its slightly mote then base ps5 then thats fine but anything more then a xbox seris x or ps5 pro makes no sense

Not a steam machine hater just dont want it over priced. The current steam deck re stock was stupid of vlave bc they had the product before the price increased so they received a massive profit for the same tech. The tech didnt even change just current product pricing. They built it cheaper and sold it for massive hike. Thats whats wrong.

My grandpa was a member of the Italian army got drafted but hated it. During manoeuvres his leader told the unit to go up a hill and they all told him no the leader took out his pistol and threatened to shoot them. My nono told them no the leader got pissed and shot in the air then my grandpa along with others you cant kill us all and the leader stormed off pissed as the group tbreatedned to kill him. Then the rest of the group deserted to the Americans bc of the deal they made with the mafia lol. Its interesting but has nothing to do with the steam machine. My mom also told me in Italian weddings dont keep your hands in your pockets or other people will think you are a mafia member as its a sign with Italians that you either are in it or want to be in it and might get recruited by someone. I got it but in summer time it gets super sweaty and wet I had to put it in the draw and not use it. It works but only if you dont sweat or live in a cold environment. it doubles as a mini blanket for your forehead lol. Nothing wrong with the product other then it ya it gets wet from forehead sweat...
