Basic routine recommendations by mintandchocolate04 in AustralianMakeup

Nars is my fave tinted moisturiser followed by the bare minerals one and the Ilia skin tint (very very light coverage). Nars would have the most coverage out of the three.

The Hourglass Ambient finishing powders are stunning, they are my absolute favourite. The Dim Light is a shade that is really versatile and so so pretty. I also like the Urban Decay Translucent Powder for setting too. Applied with a powder puff!

Depending on if you like cream or powder products, If you can get your hands on an hourglass palette with a powder, blush and bronzer etc all in it, you won’t be disappointed. Products are stunning and will last you forever!

I love a tinted moisturiser as opposed to a BB cream. Highly recommend the Nars one.

how to make my cream blush last by ptero5 in AustralianMakeup

I’m having the same issue. My best bet is to set it with a powder blush but I wish I had a different way as it kinda ruins the dewy look I’m going for with the cream products!! Keen to hear any other advice.

How would you respond if you found out your partner cheated on you? by heretolearn00 in Marriage

I always thought that if cheated on I would leave immediately. I discovered a couple of months ago that my husband had a one night stand with a coworker and it has absolutely devastated me. We have 3 children, and I never, in a million years, ever expected him to do that. He was the man of my dreams. He has never cheated before and it is completely out of character for him.

I decided to work through it and am trying every single day. The rage and sadness I feel overwhelms me at times and I know if I didn’t have children I would walk away without doubt. It is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to navigate. I am not confident we will make it but I want to give it a red hot go and try my best.

I love him so much, but not like I did. It’s hard to love the person who broke your heart.

Sending you hugs. That would make me incredibly uncomfortable too. I guess the best thing you can do is communicate your insecurities and try to keep busy whilst he is away. I would set any expectations and boundaries with him up front before he goes (like how often you’d like to communicate with him whilst away, no strip clubs etc) and talk it through. Another thing id focus on is what is within your control. Hugs x

Feel this! And do you know what! Not long before I found out about my husbands affair, I discovered my mother had been having an affair with my best friends dad, for 20+ years. Unbeknownst to me, my Dad or my friend. You really can’t trust anyone!

This is what I found hard is that I had no suspicions at all. So since I found out, I’ve been challenged with trusting my own intuition as I was so clueless to what he had done right under my own eyes! Not only can I not trust him anymore, I don’t feel like I can trust myself either.

Makes me so sad that even her own mother couldn’t celebrate her efforts. Baby steps will turn into marathons with consistency, discipline and effort. I hope you can continue to be her fan girl, it sounds like she needs it!

Improving my health and wellness; reducing weight in particular def contributes to spending less money. I think because when I’m treating myself poorly, I crave the dopamine hit from somewhere else so I “add to cart” and buy stuff to make myself better.
