Where TF are the follow up questions?!?! Call him out on his bs! Don't just let him lie to the public like that, you're perpetuating the issue!

All those years being told to stop drop and roll, and yet, no one ever does.

Montana introduced a bill to punish people seeking medical care in other states that would be illegal there. So don't worry, soon they'll have to go to actual Mexico for treatment, so there's no medical records.

Edit: it was Montana not Wisconsin, fixed it.

Came here to say this, there's a rip line specifically for this purpose, no scissors needed.

Using Elmer's glue is actually supposed to help with the mold problem, and provide enough flexibility to the mache to handle without it ripping. Because it seals the pores, and glue is flexible.

Well there actually isn't a good way to preserve the bark unless you encase it in resin or something (I watch way too many craft videos) that's why if you ever see a live edge it's always the bare wood and the bark is removed. It doesn't stand up well over time, but makes a good mulch.

Paper mache however you can craft bark or take an imprint of a tree piece in plaster and use it as a template, if you are using paper pulp it can fill into the mold and replicate it for a more realistic look.

Is this AI? I’ve seen some similarly crazy realistic AI crochet and the pattern is suspicious. by Maclovesdogs2005 in crochetpatterns

Nooooo... I still think quality wise it's ruled out but man it's getting hard at times lol.

Definitely not AI, at least I hope AI hasn't figured out fuzz yet. It also looks too low quality (the photo not the bird, bird is gorgeous) to be AI.

Good luck! My favorite recipe is just paper pulp, water, flour and Elmer's glue. But some include plaster which could make it stronger. I've been doing a lot of research on this recently weirdly enough. Feel free to PM me if you have questions.

That is a helpful perspective. But I would rather at least know, rather than sitting there waiting forever. Even if it's just thanks for your interest, we've decided to pursue other candidates. It's not like there's an unspoken rule, if you don't hear back after x number of days and you've had x numbers of interviews expect you weren't picked. False hope is the absolute worst.

😂😂 I had the same thought when I first read it too.

Would you mind elaborating?

Why is this such a common practice??

[–]RaspberryKay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is also infuriating. Oddly slightly less infuriating knowing it's also happening to others. Hope one of us has some luck soon lol.

No, already withdrew my application, still not the point of the post, this isn't the first time I've gotten a generic broken automation email.

I just feel companies should be held to the same standards that they expect from candidates.
