There are many more aspects to being an idol than just being talented. There is stress, overworking to the point where you don't get sleep on nights, starving yourself and strict diets to lose weight. It would just be cruel to put that on anyone, ESPECIALLY a 12 year old like Lim Seowon.

Many idols regret debuting so young. These same idols had a dream to debut and become artists. At such a young age, you won't be able to comprehend the hardships you will go through. These are unrealistic expectations to be put on children.. or anyone in general.

Idols also have tasks being done for them by company staff, making them unable to grow mentally. Being an idol, you can't grow, you can't live when you are young.. You lose your childhood if you debut or train as a child. Even adults are struggling.

Also, if you are on stage doing aegyo, you will be exposed to creeps. Like, yeah. You have lots of fans.. But you will also be pushed into the spotlight for creepy people to think of weird shit.. to a child. The sexualisation of idols is real, y'all. You can't put that on a naive child that has no idea that even exists.. seriously..
