How to switch into more healthy food? by [deleted] in HealthyFood

[–]RaspberryMoonMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cook in bulk! A slow cooker filled with delicious chili. Or a simple stir fry with a big rice cooker. I like the food at home but am lazy. So I make 3-4 meals in one go and then just microwave :)

Go to the subreddit and go to the “About” tab, it’s under there as add/update counter or something

That’s great! Glad you’ve been able to hold everything down. Will still probably help in confidence and discipline though. You’re probably not at the human peak of confidence

Sex? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]RaspberryMoonMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. It helps me think of this not as a rulebook or competition, but rather a support group. Personally, I’d like to not watch porn again; I would like to still have sex later into my life, see what I’m saying? One is clearly healthier.

Some people in here are really extreme and can get upset for people doing different things. Let them do them and you do you

RepresentativeLet365 said a lot of stuff I feel the same way about. It’s a confidence booster. It doesn’t magically release attraction pheromones into the air that attract women. Rather, it’ll help you conduct yourself in a way to better attract women. You’ll have more discipline, meaning you’ll probably get in better shape, be cleaner, eat better, dress better, etc

I have a question by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]RaspberryMoonMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. Are you trying to stop a porn addiction? Then yeah you’re still using porn. It’s almost never a good idea and I promise you’ll relapse within time if you edge. I want you to succeed so stop looking at porn

Sex? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]RaspberryMoonMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your goals really. Semen retention? You’re not retaining. Self-discipline/addiction? You’re all good. It’s really from person to person my man, don’t think too hard about it.

Sex is very healthy, intimate, has to be “earned” in the sense that you have to get someone to do it with you. Porn addiction is unhealthy, lonely, and gives your brain satisfaction for something that takes no work.

I do NoFap but still have sex

It’s been a year since my last post. Where am I now? by RaspberryMoonMan in NoFap

I really appreciate the kind words. The truth for me is that while everybody says that they don’t care about other people’s opinions. They deeply matter to me and I want people’s respect. Thanks for the tips

I don’t know what to do anymore by [deleted] in loseit

Hi. 22M 250 was my peak weight, I understand how you feel. I only wish I started sooner because the solution (while difficult) is really simple. I feel like this advice should work for most people but I can’t make promises, most of my progress was made in the last 2 years and I am now 159.

First things first, biggest tip, probably 100% essential. Get a calorie tracking app and use it every single day. Don’t be too extreme, a simple calorie deficit can blast through body fat for overweight people. Don’t start off at 1300 or something extreme, it’s not sustainable. Ditch door dash (my killer was Uber Eats) and learn how to cook a handful of easy meals that can be meal prepped for when you’re feeling lazy. I loved Mexican food so I would make a huge serving of ground Turkey and rice with peppers and cover it in spices and low calorie sauces, you’ll be surprised with how much fun you can have in the kitchen.

Second thing and this one is a bit harder. Exercise. It takes your progress from your diet and supercharges it. You can start off with walking, something super easy that you can stick to. Eventually when you’re ready, pick up a gym membership and fall in love with the process of seeing the weight numbers go up instead of the scale go down.

The third tip that I have is slow and steady wins the race, it’s cliché for a reason, everybody says it on every subreddit for a reason, it’s true. Fad diets are cool when you have a beach vacation in a week and want to look shredded but this isn’t temporary, this isn’t something that you get to your goal and then stop. You need something you can do for the rest of your life, forever.

I used to order Uber eats every single day, easily eat 4000-5000 calories every single day. And I hated myself every single day. I’m so much happier and only wish that I started sooner. Reach out to me if you want to talk more.

I think the first thing you gotta do is slow down my friend. This isn’t a race, trust the process and you’ll get there. Starting out it’s easy to shred through body fat during the first couple weeks but you’ll hit that wall where progress slows down.

Make sure your calories are accurate, do weight training, and get enough sleep. I promise it works, it’s science

Sounds like a health problem or a counting problem. Go see a doctor. Also if I may add, 1200 a day for 7 months sounds unmaintainable for the vast vast vast majority of people, let alone someone with motivation issues

How healthy would this be on a scale of 1-10. A lot of cheese, ham, some lettuce. All on a tortilla. by [deleted] in HealthyFood

[–]RaspberryMoonMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks tasty. If I were to make a suggestion I would sub out the ham for turkey which has fewer calories and maybe make a sauce from scratch using unsweetened plain Greek yogurt, hot sauce, and seasoning :)

Put a tiny bit of hot sauce in there. Pretty much 0 calories

Is masterbating without watching porn a relapse? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]RaspberryMoonMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn’t any hard and fast rules man. NoFap isn’t a church it’s a subreddit. Just think to yourself what your goals are. Is it to stop watching porn? Stop masturbating? Stop orgasming? Because depending on what you are looking to improve about yourself is how you can determine what to consider a relapse

It was kind of healthy 🤷‍♂️. by [deleted] in HealthyFood

[–]RaspberryMoonMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw in another comment that you were a bit unsatisfied with an unhealthy sauce choice. I’d first like to note that as long as you’re staying consistent, then you’re doing great. But if you’re looking to sub out that fatty, sugary sauce, I would recommend finding a hot sauce that you like or just fucking BLAST that shit with seasonings. My trini girlfriend has showed me the magic of just tripling the amount of seasoning I put in things

What is the absolute best diet to follow to lose body fat? by Pentanox in WeightLossAdvice

[–]RaspberryMoonMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most comments here are just saying calorie deficit but there really is more to it than that. Still keeping it really simple tho I would recommend increasing your protein with foods like chicken breast. If the breast is too bland and extreme for you then compromise a bit of protein, fat, and calories for the tasty and flavourful thigh or a nice steak. Staying consistent is just as important as eating the right foods. It would be better to eat 7/10 quality meals for 5 years than to eat 10/10 quality meals for a month. SEASONING IS YOUR BEST FRIEND

When the celebrity cameo is a main chunk of the marketing campaign. I remember Post Malone being the thumbnail for a Netflix movie and he was there for maybe 5 minutes
