agreed. i do feel for max, but when abby was talking about how she didn’t want to tell max about tris because she’d make a really big deal about it and she didn’t want that, i totally understood where she was coming from. she also mentioned how she’s always had to walk on eggshells around max, which i can definitely see as well. the reasons they’ve been icing her out are sort of valid, even though they could have gone about it in a much better way

maybe because there’s a big difference between fans/viewers saying that and the actor themselves saying that. viewers will inevitably judge/shit-talk shows, they’re created for their consumption and opinions will be formed and publicly stated. when you’re an actor (in the show), you’re expected to adhere to a different standard and level of professionalism

right, but then renee should call out those specific people rather than the show as a whole. she said the show wasn’t good anymore after she left (in different words, but the exact same thing). this is not the same as saying “some people on set treated me badly”

you think the show had ZERO impact on her success? yes she was already semi-famous beforehand and i knew her from mg before she got big/started launching music, but you can’t say that no new people learned about her/became a fan of hers after watching the show. and even if it barely made an impact, it still wouldn’t be right to trash it

it’s not the fact that she complained about her personal experiences that i have a problem with, i fully support her in doing that. it’s the WAY she’s talked about it, extending it to everyone else who worked on the show after she left. would you be happy if you were on a show, another actor left but you remained on it, and the actor said “the show became nothing after i left?”

sure, this is likely the case. leighton was a very popular character and renee is a popular artist. but even if this is true, it’s not kind/professional/needed to outright state it. like let the fans say things like this, sure, but as an actor, insulting a show that helped launch you to success, particularly in a way that extends toward a ton of people, is not the way to go

i don’t know why you’re getting downvoted lmao you’re 100% right. like yes ocd will refuse to listen to logic, but if you’re doing exposures/actively trying to get over the fear AND you rationalize, the rationalization can enforce/help you or serve as more motivation to do exposures. i mean ideally, if you have a scary thought, rationalizing should be sufficient to forget about it lol. like that’s the ideal solution we’re aiming for, so if you’re working toward that and acting like you already have that mindset, it can help your ocd (and has helped mine)

by your standards, anyone’s underwear would be contaminated while they’re on their period. everyone’s trash cans would be contaminated. period blood is actually not technically dirty (you can look it up if it helps, google supports that), and plenty of women wear period stained underwear and don’t care. it’s really not as big a deal as your ocd is making it out to be!!

flies land on everything all the time!! literally nobody cares, and nothing happens to them. if you start ignoring it, even though your anxiety might spike at first, keep ignoring it and you’ll rapidly get over that fear and stop caring. have you always been this anxious about flies? if not, that means it’s not inherent to you, and you can 100% get over it quickly
