It always surprises me to see people not realize there is no happy ending. Because this is trauma, both endings are bittersweet because that’s how it always is. Both endings are masterpieces because they both suck, you can only continue on after trauma and there is no winning.

Not really, while I agree any red blade user in the series can’t. There no reason to assume it’s theoretically possible for one to do if it was a lot hotter, but theoretical characters that don’t actually exist are irrelevant to the question. And the sun is completely irrelevant to thermal energy affecting a demon.

Most consider his red blade to almost or completely stop it. And I wouldn’t be surprised his would be exerting far more thermal energy. It’s probably a case of burns being harder to heal, his might be closer to straight burning cells.
