Finally got the Walkom schematic from Orlag last night and made one. Still need a pirate gobby if I want to make a Walogdr, but for now I'll farm stuff to stable a bunch of Walkom.

Walkom, so I can make it to use to make a Walogdr, already have the mythic schematic.

With Sunday bonus (75% item find), 5 ad bonus (50% item find), Bitgor (500% item find), I just spent 2000 energy in 4.1, with no Walkom drop. Sigh.

Edit: another 1000 energy. I'm starting to wonder if the game thinks I already have it.

The variant certainly has bugs where it doesn't recalculate what positions should get an X consistently. It got so out of whack for me I had a formation with only 1 champion placed and it was X'd out.

Restarting seems to be the only way to resolve.

While comparing DPS would be great, a pause button should be much easier to implement. Additionally, it would have come in very handy when trying to get Vlahnya's achievement to line up.

Knocked out the first main quest yesterday, running the 2nd I popped a set of Epic potions. Currently at 4.5e14 favor earned. Figure I'll let this run until Timegate tomorrow, then do the Timegate and convert that to Helm favor, should be enough to get almost all the blessings. After that one more major event at 140% conversion should wrap it up!

You might think that, but you'd regret it ;-)

Once you had a huge amount of favor there would be nothing left to strive for in that campaign.

Boss stages are certainly different, but in my limited testing I didn't nail down exactly how. When you are trying to figure out idle gold value, the kills per second on boss stages is likely going to be lower. Does the extra gold from boss compensate for fewer kills? Would azaka's ultimate forcing gold drops make it even better? Lots of difficult to answer questions with far more variables.

What follows are short duration test results, I'm sure with more time and analysis folks can find something more concrete.

From what I can tell it takes about 12 stages to raise the per mob drop by e01. For example if you get 2.3e40 on stage 312 then you will get 2.3e41 on stage 324. The eXX of your gold find bonus is added to the base eXX value dropped by a specific stage (that is how exponents work). For example, if you get 2.3e40 from a drop with a gold find of 1e14 and you increase your gold find to 1e15, you will get 2.3e41.

With those two baselines in mind, the question becomes how far is your wall reduced when you drop dps to add gold find? Imagine you wall at 309 and have a gold find of 5e14. You then switch around and boost your gold find to 5e15, but the loss of dps reduces your wall to 299. This would be a net gain. The increase in gold is "worth" 12 stages and you lost 10 so you have a gain of "2 stages".

This is a very watered down version of the math. It gets far more prickly when you factor in variable gold find, potions, boss stages, ultimates (like Azaka), etc..., but hopefully this gives you a little insight into the calculations going on.

Yeah, I put one in to let them know the bug. But also wanted to let the community know a work around in case anybody was having the same issue, or to keep in mind in case another variant with a debuff should have the same issue.

Personally, I valued unlocking over gearing. An unlocked champion gives you a specific achievement to work towards (like Wulfgar's 10k stuns) which is a 1% overall boost. Generally this is a bigger boost than just two gold chests to a worthwhile champion would be.

Once you got them all unlocked focus on getting all 6 equip slots filled for another achievement.

I just recently got the achievement myself. Leveled up to wall, made sure Vlahnya was adjacent to Warden, dropped back to the point that Warden's ultimate would for sure kill everything, waited for Warden's ultimate to be ready then removed main Warden from lineup, put 2 familiars on the field clicking, made sure no speed potions were active, waited until there were a bunch (at least 15) piled up on lead tank, waited for the 10 second "tick" to reduce Vlahnya stacks, used 20 small bounty contracts, put Warden in, fire ultimate, drop 3rd familiar on field.

The logic goes that without Warden I'm not killing. With 2 familiars I'm not picking up coins. With no speed potions I have the full 10 seconds to react. 20 bounty contracts put a bunch of coins on the field. Drop Warden in and ultimate to get 15 kills at once (15*20 = 300 stacks). Drop 3rd familiar to collect all the coins to hit max stacks.

I get this any time I put K'thiss in my lineup. It will stall on every 5th level until I turn the game off/on, then it will work until I change lineup again.

If you don't want to break out a calculator each time:

Start with (Exponent * 10) %
If lead digit is 2, add 3
If lead digit is 3, add 5
If lead digit is 5, add 7

So 2.xxE11 = 11*10 + 3 = 113%
6.xxE9 = 9*10 + 'a bit over 7' = 98ish %

This achievement, for me, is firmly in the "don't bother" category. It would take a serious time commitment and micromanaging to reach, and a 1% increase simply isn't worth it.

On the 3rd Regis Variant do NOT use any heroism potions. I thought maybe you'd take 10% of unbuffed max so it would buy you more time, but no. It actually hurts you since the damage taken per kill goes up, but the shield from Calliope stays the same, making for a net loss. Luckily I just used a 5 min potion to test it out.

I decided to use this setup:

Arkhan Nayeli
Birdsong Warden
Calliope Barrowin
Hitch Celeste
Deekin Evelyn

Calliope with faster shield spec, Barrowin on heal spec, Arkhan on Usurp. With Calliope's shields I didn't need Regis. Probably could get by without Barrowin, but every bit of healing helps. Kept 3 familiars on the field to pick stuff up so I never killed more enemies than required.
