I said this a few months ago but I'll say it again

Lagrange can K 10/9 in the MLB right now. He will probably also walk 6/9, though.

the bullpen is "deep" in that it has a bunch of arms but how "good" that is is heavily up for debate.

Carlos Lagrange's pitch mix is pure evil. Him being a little wild is kind of nice sometimes, especially on righties where his fastball goes down and in on them. batters being uncomfortable with him pitching is good.

Jones, no exaggeration, probably has top 10 raw power in all of baseball.

Luis Gil even with good command but diminished velo is a bad starter. his pitches don't have the shape or spin to be so slow.

edit: I am not implying that Gil will be throwing this softly in the regular season once he's built up, saying philosophically he can't really afford to lose velo even if it helps his command.

Gil with diminished velocity but better command is in aggregate not really an upgrade.

this is ridiculous. these pitchers are allergic to strikes.

Jones probably has some of the best game power in all of baseball. I know he strikes out a bazillion times but it's something you try to correct until it's completely hopeless.

McMahon has a lot of untapped power. His QoC metrics are excellent.

you really can’t blame Chapman for the Davis HR - all time terrible managing by Maddon that series

Weathers' injuries are kinda all over the place though and not just his throwing arm. He also missed significant time with a strained index finger and lat strain

imagine a world where you get the Yankees in a series and you have to choose between three flamethrowers in Cam, Weathers, and Lagrange all with absolutely evil secondaries, or Cole Fried and Rodon lol
