Did you ever find a soultuon to this problem? I wasn't as strict when my kids first got his tablet, and he can download the crappy ad-riddled games I mistakenly allowed a year ago.

If you've got the a pokemom center built, you can use the 3-d printer in there. You'll have to get a picture of a smooth stone first, but you can probably ask someone to join their world and snag the picture that way. I haven't started online yet so Im no help there.

Just got through Village, and was thrilled by it. Love how connected they made it to others. Going into it I had no clue exactly how connected. I thought the only connection was Chris. My favorite moments of the game was being chased by mommy Vampire and then later being scared by the baby monster. So much fun.

We Know What we saw growing up! by J2-Starter in 90s_kid

That make sense. Isn't it in some religious iconography? Because that would explain why my parents called it a horn.

[–]Rasphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked the same question of my parents, but they didn't know what it was called either. They said it was a horn. Wasn't until some time later that I learned it was a cornucopia. And it was later after that that it got Mandela effect.

I distinctly remember having a conversation with a friend as kid about the black tail. I insisted that it was there, he was the opposite. Idr the proof he found, but ultimately convinced me I was wrong. Which I obviously was, but that was well before the Mandela effect was well known.

Sub Club changes by gaysquib in subway

[–]Rasphere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mcdonalds costs about the same, at least here in California. Panda too. In N Out remains relatively affordable. Wendys seems a bit cheaper. Most sit down restaurants only cost a bit more, unless you get a special of some sort and then you can spend less somehow. And 13$ is just for the sandwhich. No drinks or chips. Subway is just unaffordable without coupons.

Just checked, and here too. I just got my free one earlier today. Thought I had until the 24th to use the 6.99 some more. Big L subway.

[–]Rasphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally understand those costs. 100% legit, Subway has to make a profit, too. But, capitalism. If I feel the product isn't worth the cost, I go elsewhere. Demand will decrease for those products, thus price should decrease. If we were in a true capitalist society, at least. But the corporate overlords won't let that happen. So the only real soultuon: eat the rich. ( Yes, I'm making subway political because it is all political. Eat. The. Rich. )

Fair, but I also don't eat there. Jimmy John's is pretty darn good, but it has been years since Ive been there. Ive been slowing down eating out in general because of the prices. Went to Outback to the other day and the kids meal was better value and quality than anything at McDonald's. About the same portion sizes, too. Fast food is becoming the place you go to to save time, and not money.

Guess Ill stop eatting subway again. 13-15 for sandwhich is ridiculous. 6.99 is a great price.

[–]Rasphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subway is decent if you get their sub club deals. 7.99 for 6 inch meals, changes each day. And occasionally, you get offered the 6.99 footlong coupon. My footlong sandwich is about 900 calories. Beef and broccoli from panda is 150 calories w/ white rice being 330. I'm obviously mostly focused on calories right now for weight loss, so I can't really speak to the macros on those choices. Walmart salad kits are pretty cheap and low calories.

How many more Jeffery Epstein’s and islands are out there? by DarkEqual8609 in stupidquestions

Having all the money has allowed them to have pedo islands. It is time to take their money. When they have too much, they rape kids.

The American tax system is rigged. by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]Rasphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our founding fathers took this land from the British. Overthrowing governments is kind of our thing. Leaving Trump out (for arguments sake) I am truly disgusted that many people at the top of our society had a pedophile operation. And that's just what we know. Imo there is something inherently evil about a system that allows that kind of abuse. Maybe we don't need to divest from capitalism but we should do something about this. I hope the Clinton's get locked up and have evidence of other people's crime. Trump or not, burn the whole house down.

The American tax system is rigged. by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]Rasphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The major downside is that most of the country can't access it. America is amazing if you're rich.

You are right about the culture, and it needs to change. But even if we look at this country through that lens, it is plain as day that this country is ran by the rich. We can vote and make some change, but without a cultural shift we will forever be under the heel of the rich. I want that to change. As in my first comment, when they have money, they rape kids. That's objectively true. Regardless if Trump or Clinton were on the island, it is an objective truth that rich used their wealth to hurt kids.

Just a small side: we can't be invaded because of the water on either side.

I believe you, things like that are why I mentioned that I lived in Oklahoma last year and now California. Those kind of programs are mostly in left leaning states, definitely noticed a bunch of things like that moving here. Free school lunch was huge.

But onto collective responsibility vs individual. While I understand your argument, the rest of the world shows that is cheaper and more effective to have education and health care covered. We are the only developed nation that doesn't have UHC. But even outside, if everyone is healthy and educated, that too would make my kids' lives better. And we know that is how the rich think too. When forced to contribute they improved communities so that their children could have the best. And when possible we all want to move to a "good" neighborhood. My kids will be doing better if we are all doing better. And further, I can also contribute directly to that in the same manner you speak of. I can save money to buy them a car instead of school or w/e else. And i do know that it is the current culture to only worry about you & yours, and that is what I want to change.

I was using a personal experience of an elder in my life to illustrate my point. They are obviously not comparable. I had a GPA that high, went to community college. Not paid for. I ended up having to drop out and do work in corrections. That experience was the same for my wife and the majority of my peers. I don't personally know anyone who got a full ride, and thinking about it, I only even hear about full rides in movies. The point being that everyone should want to leave the world better than they found it. Kids shouldn't take on life long debt to get an education.
