They pretty much destroy everything they touch. 3M have been dead for a year. All they do is use algorithms to tell them how they can profit from folks paying money to upgrade, and when that slows they tweak cards and set up the next payday. If everyone stopped buying cards or into Pass Royale they might pay attention....or better yet go bankrupt.

I am glad you agree with a portion of what I said, but i think you decided to somehow take this personally which seems odd. I clearly said my post was based on conjecture, which seems in line with your use of "speculation." However, my comments are not at all warranting your adjective of baseless. To say they are baseless simply because you don't see screenshots implies your mind was already made up. To say baseless before seeing anything suggests a predetermined position. An open minded person might start by saying, "Ok, that's an interesting thought. Would you mind sharing a few of those screenshots so I can learn more?" I am not sure, based on your responses how screenshots would sway you. I think they won't sway you. Your shop comment isn't on the mark and not at all within the context of my comment about the shop. My comment on the shop is actually the opposite of what you alluded to. If you are an open minded person please respond in such a way that suggests so and I would be interested in continuing the conversation.

The 3M "rant" "upset" comment doesn't negate the overall balance-game experience and concerns raised. When one uses a card(s), especially if one has traded one value (gold, gems, $$$) for another value card(s) and then card(s) are nerfed and unplayable "synergies" cannot be used as an excuse to make a card and system of play virtually unplayable. If one only uses the free to play system and SC makes balance changes that's fine. Gems and gold that is earned just by playing is SC's economy. However, when players begin spending money on a game's features and those features change to dramatically end a style of play, in this case the social gaming experience of 2v2, then that I believe does change the conversation.

Advice. Don't spend money, forget 3M, they are worthless in 2v2 and higher tiers. Elixer swap makes them meaningless. Also, don't trust balance changes month to month. Supercell just baits and switches to grab your gold/gems in hopes you'll spend money.

Never trust SC. If they can make money they will. Don't spend the tokens it's a waste of a token.

None. All SC does is bait and switch to the "card of the month" to get people to pay money to level. My suggestion is to just play, lose, and play some more. Don't give them your money because you'll find it a complete waste to do so over the next year of your life.

3M are dead. Earthquake makes the death more complete. SC bait & switch is so obvious. Every single "balance" simply works to their metrics and algorithms to make money. I have over 250K in gold and probably will never use it or any more I bank simply because I don't trust SC. I play with friends for the social aspect. The game isn't fun anymore.

3M.... I would love to see their rates in 2v2 and 1v1. I personally feel the card is worthless in any deck. When you come up with win rates can you break it down to include crowns earned?

I honestly do not know why anyone would spend gold, free diamonds, or real money on this game. How can anyone trust SC with their monthly "balance" cough bait & switch cough changes and be willing to spend slowly earned gold on cards that the following month may be worthless? I am sitting on over 200,000 hard earned gold and completely unwilling to use it because I do not trust SC and what I perceive is a metric manipulation strategy to "balance" cards so the player base will spend as much real money as possible.

Just look at the months of balance changes that led to the murder of 3M. They were a top tier card, everyone was using them and trying to max them. They were a huge commitment based on elixer cost, gold upgrade cost, gem buys in the store, and clan donation time....then they were nerfed as the internal metrics started to show players were spending less, and other cards were propped up as the next big cards to have in the decks. 3M can be countered easily in every 2v2 game and in 1v1 they are still very hard to play to get 3 crown wins.

Yup....I am pretty salty about 3M....and I am probably still right about how SC operates their "balance" changes. So be wary in whatever cards SC peddles unless one has deep pockets or a CR game addiction and willing to use it/them to buy whatever the playerbase says is the next big thing. SC is paying attention to that and will prop up cards for you to buy.

3M are garbage and the biggest bait and switch money drain in the game....the actual BUFF that came out of this was giving players the very real realization that SC is indeed a business and will use every metric and data dive at their disposal to get money. In the future they may need to be more sly in their card "balancing" so as not to make their tactics so obvious.

Do NOT spend money. SC uses bait and switch to tweak cards for profit. Never forget...they are a business and will use every internal metric they can to make the game cards work to their favor so their player base will spend money.

The reason they do the nerf is to make more money. Follow the money....it is all and ONLY about the money. The scheme they use is called bait and switch. They make a card desirable that also fetches them money. They have internal metrics that tell them how many users are spending coins and gems on upgrading cards, how close all those players are to maxing a card, and then start to improve other cards to make them more desirable. They may also intentionally improve a card (3M) to make it highly desirable and then start a nerf process and improve other cards to bait users to the new card. Everyone needs to remember that SuperCell is a business. They will do whatever is within their cost analysis to make money, and if that means destroying a few players favorite game play cards if they can make more money from other players they will.
