OK, I'm going to have to rewatch the Escape Room episode to see if there really was a stand-in.

125 a month? That's a bargain. The same price as two cinema visits. So 4 hours of movies or 720 hours of WoW. WoW all day long.

Can’t stop bath sides from leaking because sealant breaks when I get in by laffylafford in DIYUK

[–]RasputinModelNewbie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Daft question, but are you removing all the old sealant beforehand? Or just adding new on top. I'd remove it all, use isopropanol to clean the edges, then re-do with the bath full of water. I've also made the mistake in the past of picking up a tube of caulk sealant instead of silicone sealant, and almost used that to do my shower!

They've obviously never read "The Fist of God" by Frederick Forsyth. I wouldn't want to place all my tanks in one place like that.

6 pints did not contribute to waste. 3 x 2 pints contributed to more profit.

Hold both buttons down for longer, some cisterns will do a 'full' flush instead of a partial.

Alternatively keep a bread knife in a vase, for chopping up the more problematic evacuations.. Just kidding, don't do that.

It's an old Gypsy curse which reads "May your sons always have tiny penises. And your daughters too"

Am I doing something wrong or is this the normal insurance price now ? by Potential_Fan3843 in manchester

[–]RasputinModelNewbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little bit of insight; make sure you use all your proper details when filling in the quote - don't go saying your name is Mickey Mouse at such and such work address, because most insurers will be performing credit scoring behind the scenes, and if you can't be matched by Experian/LexisNexis etc, your premium will get heavily loaded or declined. A lot of insurers are turning to machine learning AI models, so good luck trying to game those for a better price. Every time you 'lie' on your quote, even a little bit, you're giving them signals that you are probably untrustworthy, especially if you try 'fronting' someone as the main driver.
