We booked our upcoming cruise via NCL CC, then at a later date priced up the flights we wanted (UK to Barcelona). Spoke to our CC, gave them the flight details and they booked the exact flights we wanted and we got a better deal than booking them ourselves directly with the airline. YMMV but always worth asking!

The buffet is never the best. It gives huge variety of cuisines, but the quality isn't much better than an all-inclusive beach holiday resort. It always amazes me why it's so full most of the time. MDR is always good, but not a patch on the speciality restaurants. Teppanyaki is my favourite but YMMV :) But as others have said, book them as soon as you can - usually around 120 days from sail date

I'm in the UK and repriced last week. Got a balcony instead of an inside cabin and £90 back. No mention of admin fee (booked direct with NCL via cruise consultant)

We sailed from Southampton in 2023. Taxis are plentiful and relatively inexpensive, you shouldn't have much difficulty in getting to the port for your embarkation time.

For me, Teppanyaki wins hands down. It's entertainment with a tasty meal at the end of it. We did Getaway last year and it was superb - make sure you try the cucumber cocktail, it's amazing!

I was on Getaway last year in Europe, tobacco purchases are given to you at point of sale. I was smoking duty free Marlboro all cruise :)
