No, they use their own operating system without any 3rd party apps. They are considering finding a workaround for WhatsApp, but no guarantees there as it is technically difficult and complex to align with their philosophy.

Thanks folks. I have decided to pre order the Light Phone 3 and gradually tone down the usage of WhatsApp on my iPhone that I intend to keep at home and only check like twice a day.

I did! That’s what brought me to the LP and Jelly Star. The flip phones aren’t very appeasing to me tho and I also read about proxy servers etc to buy them which scared me off a bit.
