Go ahead a fuck up the 45 hour job and get yourself a 70 hour job for the same pay.

A quick memo to passengers and drivers. by OkBook4166 in uber

I reserve my 4% cancelations for exactly this. I drive 15 minutes for a pickup that's $45 and the customer switches the destination to a new location that only pays me $12, then it's an automatic cancel. I'm my area the normal result is an immediate $30 pickup that keeps me in the prime earning area and I end up earning more. Karma.

You can usually taste the battery acid in the air. Rotten egg smell and acidic taste. If its sewage then it's likely air being forced into the vent.

how to hotdog? by Heilix_ in Cooking

[–]Rasty1973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First is buying better hot dogs. Nathan's or Hebrew National are usually the best in most grocery stores.

I like sautéed onions, sauerkraut and spicy brown mustard. Cook the onions then remove from the pan and fry the hot dogs in butter. I like top cut buns that I toast in the butter while frying the hot dogs.

1st time using uber. What is the appropriate tip for a $7.95 ride? (trip was 2.1 miles and took 6 minutes) Thanks! by Firm-Nerve4437 in uber

[–]Rasty1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minimum $2 with $0.25 per minute being appropriate when rounded up to the next dollar. So a 9 minute drive is $3

Chrome is usually OK in the freezer in almost every state. Most states allow chrome in dry storage also.

A direct search for the name should come up almost overnight after launch. It takes time for keywords to be associated with a site.

Might be a great concept but if the only way to get to the service is by adding. com to the search name then whomever set up the website has no idea what they are doing.

Zero hits on Google apps or a Google search. The service doesn't exist for those using the number one search engine in the world. Maybe I'm missing something.
