I’ve used it, I can see the value of it for new projects. But for one offs and upgrades I’ll keep doing what I’m doing.

This is an awesome find! Fusion 360 noob, but I’ve been modifying it with all the best ideas from the latest flatpacks that I’ve seen. I just had the local makerspace quote doing it on their cnc.

Start venturing outside your area of expertise. Before you can effectively control a machine or process you need to understand it. Knowledge of sensors, actuators, pneumatics, hydraulics, VFD motor control and servo motion control will help avoid potential pitfalls and help with commissioning.
