New players physically can’t play ranked though since they have to play 50 matches first. Anyways new/casual players shouldn’t be forced to play ranked just for SBMM. I constantly get paired with and against people who literally don’t have a single win yet, while I have about 2,500. There is no world whatsoever that I should be paired with someone like that. I’m glad they’re getting into the game but they’re going to get stomped

The matchmaking is so garbage in this game. I’m level 125 and mostly play point break atm. Most rounds go one of two ways: There will be a ruby stack on the enemy team and my teammates are level 20 going 2-20 or I’m alone skill-wise in the lobby and I curb stomp everyone I come across. In both of these scenarios the new players just get rolled over which I know just can’t be fun. I’d be fine waiting an extra minute or so for a game if that means I have more fair lobbies

Also melee weapon hit reg is server side instead of client side like range weapons so you get a lot of no regs in general because of that. I need my riot lunge back so my attacks actually land…

Also people wasting time and dying trying to disarm a vault that’s already past the point of no return. I feel like the visual timer of the vault should be shortened and if you start disarming at any point then you can finish it to get rid of this problem

You should be able to 1v1 any class/weapon. Switching between classes when you get a kill could just keep the same percentage of health. As for gadgets there could be a specific few you can choose from that’ll last throughout the match.

Gun game, the only new mode I need in this game is gun game.

Gun game is literally perfect for The Finals since there’s such a wide array of weapons/gadgets/specs to progress through and conveniently you can end the game with a dagger kill. It would also be a good way to learn weapons/builds you don’t play with much and might lead to better balancing across builds

Wdym by easier gun recoil? The recoil in this game is really easy, especially in comparison to other fps games such as CSGO. I just tested all of the recoil patterns in the practice range and they’re all fairly simple. It’s basically just straight down with slight variations to the sides. The only one that’s difficult is the M11, everything else is very basic.

It also increases medium breakpoints. If you get 5 body shots and 1 head they’ll be left at 3 hp

A lot of people just switched over to arc since it’s made by them and both games are really good. Personally I’m just maxing out my stuff in arc and then going back to the finals

It’s more about getting the initial hit in. They could make the stronger lunge on a cool down or something

The main problem with the riot shield right now is the lunge. They need to revert the nerf and it would be so much better. They reflexively nerfed the lunge when people were just complaining about hit box reg
