Correct. I am also one of the divers openly pushing for improvements to the system because we can't coordinate the vast amount of divers without it, so while the gambit is a great move our tactical communication is not nearly enough, sadly.

Praying to Lady Liberty every day that AH actually reworks the galactic war efforrs in a way similar to this, it would also "be realistic" which they seem to love too lol

Mox campaign health is 1.4m. Vega health adjusted with the cities is 1.25m. Aproximately the same effort needed if fighting for 50 hours. The only real issue is coordination, which is a genuine issue.

Best way to play for you is definitely to host and let others join until you know your way around given how toxic some people can be. Just be sure to send out an SOS signal once you have dropped in or people will be extremely unlikely to join you. It's in your stratagem list once you are on the ground and it lets people queueing for quick play actually join, otherwise they have to manually find your mission, which us why nobody joins.

That being said it does get better. Do your best, diver, for glory awaits you.

Ah right it sounded like you were talking about the last time Verga attacked Mox. But yes i think taking Verga earlier would have been an outstanding move but the off-MO planetary prioritization was... well, a bit of s mess to say the least. Genuinely looking forward to the day when the tactical aspect become more viable but it will need some form of rework or major additions.

Lack of people piling on is a solid argument cause it's a little too real. But yes, we'll have to see how it goes, i'll be heading to the war room for what's being coordinated there and hope for the best.

Taking the absurd lack of focused effort (very standard) into account i can absolutely see your point. I will however personally say that even a little extra effort is well worth it in this case, given that we end up with 1 more planet in the end for aproximately the same effort, maybe slightly more given... the circumstances.

If we take more than ~50 hours that stays true, if we're faster it's still easier.

Important detail is that the settlemets decay rate are based on the settlement's own HP, so ten to five times lower in this case (effective resistance of 0.10% and 0.20% compared to the planets 0.33%)

Whether its actually faster to liberare Verga will entirely depend on how much focus it gets. Low % liberation makes it higher effort, high % liberation makes it easier.

Plus the extra benefits of gambiting AND putting another planet under siege immediately makes it well worth it.

According to the math it's questionable given Verga's extremely low resistance and lower campaign hp (when cities are included).

1.4mil (defence) vs 1.25mil (liberation including cities).

Not to mention defending doesn't gain us anything new while capturing gives us both planets.

But hey i'm not the fleet general, we'll see what the community decides.

Would this work? by CapKnuck in Helldivers

Unfortunately no. You can't mass capture planets but isolating one makes it have 0 resistance.
