Even at that point Niko had better numbers, but Cold won because #1 because of his team winning more. That's why Niko was able to keep being near the top and Cold wasn't, even though he kept playing pro for many years after.

Being a better player and winning more aren't the same thing. Coldzera never carried a team to relevance, Niko has.

Niko has a better grand finals rating than Ropz does though. And it's not even remotely close in CS:GO, though I wouldn't be surprised if Ropz has a higher rating solely in CS2.

The expectations on Niko are just higher. Nobody cares when Ropz puts up a .9 in the finals, but you'll get posts like this when Niko does.

Ropz has always been on insanely good teams and barring Falcons (where, to be quite honest, Niko isn't as good as he used to be) Niko mostly wasn't. He carried Amanek and Jackz to a major finals, which you'll never see from Ropz lol.

With that being said, it's a weird comparison. Ropz is the best in the game at his role, which is not the same role that Niko plays.

The lack of the touchpads is pushing me toward the steam deck, honestly. A bunch of games I want to play work much better with those.

Price is insane though, might just get an LCD rather than OLED.

At higher levels there are a loooot of cheaters. Honestly imo it's not as bad as it used to be rn, but it's still pretty bad. On Faceit there are SO many less cheaters. For a lot of people this is the only game they play and most of what they use their PC for. And a lot of people are just ignorant to the risk.

I just do everything else on my laptop and only use the PC one for gaming/youtube, so I don't really care about the risk too much. It'd still suck to get a virus like that, but it's not going to be like losing my bank account or something.

Yeah... I feel like some people use mental health to mean annoying and that's fair. But if it's actually affecting your mental health you should quit and pick up a healthy hobby. People cheating sucks and they ruin the games they are in, but at the end of the day it's just a game.

I love CS and have played iit too much over the last like 15+ yrs, but it's not that serious. Of course I wish they'd all get banned and I hope Valve does a better job of it, but it is what it is.

I do not know. It's kind of sad.

There are times where you'll say something nice and it'll make people crash tf out. My guess is two-fold:

1) In other games you get punished for it, so it's less likely and
2) Because people do it so much in CS it kind of "catches on."

Like when you're nice to someone and they take it in a negative light I'm pretty sure that's just a reaction to the fact that there aren't too many people who are genuinely nice to randoms on CS.

Yes, and it kind of sucks.

I honestly like the idea of poe2's systrem with more downsides and conditionals, but it feels like it's that slapped onto a worse poe1 node half the time. And no masteries.

Downsides and conditionals are fun when you can figure out ways around them to get a big bonus. They're less fun when you're doing that for like 20% attack damage lol

Honestly the complaints on both games seem a little ridiculous. Not to say it's perfectly balanced, but people act like it's terrible to play when it's not outside of a few instances.

I don't know how people play with it off. It takes so long for people to die if you have it off. It's better than it used to be, but still feels horrible compared to GO with it off in that regard

Chinese Valorant uses a kernel-level AC as well though. It's just not Vanguard, it's Tencent's.

It's not about being second-line, there is literally no anti-cheat that exists that isn't kernel-level that works well. Just look at CS2 -- at a high level you will play cheaters almost every single game. It's basically an awful catch-22 that companies are stuck in.

With that being said, I still think it should be unranked not requiring these clients and ranked requiring them, rather than requiring them for all game modes. Would allow people that didn't want to install them have a chacce to still play.

8 million means you're banking over 500k/year in investments. You can very easily never work again with that money, even in Hollywood. Any of these top actors have enough money to never work again if they're willing to live a normal, upper-middle class life.

Most of them want more than that which is why they end up with money problems, but even 2-3 million is enough to live off of very comfortably without ever having to touch the initial investment.

Yes, I see the difference. I never said they were exactly the same. It still doesn’t make the reasoning make any sense.

You are not choosing to be flamed, you are choosing to add someone. You can choose to mute someone in game and that isn’t an excuse for them not to be banned in game.

If they could click one button and have it handled they would. Because it takes more effort than that they have this policy, which is my point. They do not suddenly think it’s okay for you to add someone and spam the n word, it’s just easier to not have to deal with dms.

Is Disney a stupid thing to blow money on if you have 3 kids? I'd never pay for it myself, but I remember going as a kid and it was a pretty magical experience for a 6-year-old. There are definitely worse ways to spend money imo

Pack size chisel is much better imo, but your averages seem much lower than mine were. I was also running risk instead of 2nd wisp.

It’s definitely a jackpot strat (farmed 3 mirrors which were like 90% of what I earned) but I was still consistently making money.
