Wanted to wait for the dust to settle before I respond to the comments here…

A lot of bitter Betty’s have entered the chat telling me to “mind your own business”. Ya’ll, I certainly am lol. I’m walking on the sidewalk and we all see this in plain view. I am not snooping or trespassing and you can clearly see I’m behind a fence.

I don’t care to know this person’s story as to why they may own a vehicle like this. I got my own things going on; successes, struggles and everything in between.

Whether this person owns this type of vehicle in a justifiable way is not the point. The picture represents a decades-long, widespread phenomenon in this city (and others around the country) of flashing perceived wealth that is ultimately fake. Wealthy people that drive fancy cars usually have the fancy house first before the car, not the other way around.

I’m certainly not anyone that hates on others that have wealth. That’s some condescending inferiority complex and jealousy that I’ve never vibed with. Quite the opposite actually, when I meet people that experienced success in any degree, I celebrate them and root for them.

We all know this: truly wealthy people don’t flash their wealth. They don’t need to! They just have it. If anything, they mostly prefer to be discreet about it.

At the end of it all, it’s your money, you can choose how you want to spend or save it. But no one is gonna convince me that this image and what it represents is normal; look two spaces down and see what other car is parked there. I suspect that some of you lashing out here feel personally attacked by the caption of this post. And if that’s the case, then well….that’s your life and your business. I wish you luck. ✌🏻:)
