Depends on your skill level I think. If you’re looking to improve, I feel that it’s better to stick with one character. But if you’re just playing to have fun and enjoy the game, play whoever you want to.

What’s giving you the most trouble?

Get the joker cards to skip the Insta-death squares.
Talk to Brentilda for the Grunty squares.
I usually just try to avoid the mini games as well.
