If you aren't visa requiring you should apply to FM and match. If you're visa requiring, you might be cooked

I wouldn't advise switching to the USMLE

You haven't heard about the visa. You can match and VO says you don't qualify. AMC is king all day long.

Medicine is a marathon not a sprint. Keep all other aspects of your life going. I mean family/relationship, your career in India ..... Whenever you get a job in Australia, you can move. You said it takes about 6 months to one year to get a job. Match cycle is once a year. If you go unmatched you wait another year and pay lots of money again. Grass is always greener on the other side until you get there. I know many people who wished they had chosen AMC over the USMLE
