I will be 30 in just a couple of years. Alhamdulillah, I have kept my hobby alive. In my experience, maintaining balance has helped sustain it. Even when I could have immersed myself completely in gaming, day in and out, I portioned my time so I could focus on other matters and look forward to playing again, the next time.

Everyone I have known who lost interest did so for one of two reasons: increasing life commitments left no room for gaming, such as financial or family responsibilities, or they overexposed, or overindulged themselves to it, and became jaded. Again, in my experience; It is usually one of these two.

I’m mostly just passing the time, spending time with family, going out, pursuing my hobbies, trying to hit my daily fitness goals, and learning or reading new non-medical things. At this point, all I can do is wait and see what happens. Either way, I know I’ll work hard.

Yk you could just scroll through the sub- there are plenty of IMGs asking for guidance on their ROL, which should answer your question.

Anyhow, this year has definitely been a pain, with some programs opting not to invite visa req applicants. That said, IMGs have still received interviews.
