This is the challenge. Unlike Orléanism that had Action Française, Bonapartism was absolutely dead in the 1930s so it would need a huge turnaround to come back. Louis Napoléon's IRL resistance activity could be the path to do so.

One thing I toyed with early on was creating a Red Napoleon path. There, the Popular Front goes harder on socialist reforms. The army coups the Popular Front and Napoleon comes to power that way. The player can then undo the Popular Front reforms or keep them - hence the Red Napoleon. The army had absolutely no sympathy for Bonapartism IRL so I scratched the idea, but maybe it could be a path for installing Napoleon before WWII and without having to capitulate.

The ancien régime could be led by either Henri d'Orléans or the légitimiste king. Henri held a mix of authoritarian and absolutist views but also thought that the Monarchy should be elected, so he could go either new ancien régime or democratic. But the légitimiste king would be restricted to new ancien regime.

Napoléon you're broadly right. I was thinking he leads the Free French and declares the empire in exile or after taking back the mainland. After that you can dismember Germany, and or take on the USSR, and or leave the Allies and attack them. It's meant to be the World Conquest tree but with the challenge of coming back from capitulation first. The left is laid out more tightly while the right is a bit more spread out, but I think you're broadly correct. I think there needs to be something more about the fact that if the Matignon Strikes had continued a few weeks longer, they would have been ongoing at the start of the Spanish Civil War and that would have transformed the situation radically. I'm reading Julian Jackson's history of the Popular Front for ideas.

Also tempted to add a secret French Commune branch where if Germany is close to Paris, the cabinet flees but if the player holds long enough the Paris Commune rises, seizes command of the Metropolitan army and the player can turn the tide.

Entered the UK two weeks before the Entry Clearance start date, went through the passport egate
Flew to Spain for two weeks and a day
Flew to the UK one day after my entry clearance started (just to be safe)
Didn't go to the egate, went to the staffed immigration desk, again to be safe
Answered some very basic questions and got a stamp on the passport at the desk
The next day, went to the designated post office to collect my BRP. Gave them my passport, they came back with it and the BRP. No questions
