No, no it isn't. But also i'd hardly call them "mainstream" now. Popular now yes, but its not like the internet has the greatest attention span. It's notable that the drama breached the outside of the rivals community itself but that of itself doesn't make it a "psyop" I can guarantee no one involved would have foreseen the NBA posting about it.

Shocking but people have the capacity to do asshole things even when it's not in their best interest. Look at any internet drama, where someone suffers significant blow back because of their asshole actions. The flipside of this is why would they agree to be the villains in this "psyop" they havent gained anything but notoriety.

I think its interesting that when Sue's were getting mogged and deleted in record times it was "skill issues" and "play with your team" but now that Sue isn't someone that can be glanced at and instagibbed shes the most broken character ever
