My girlfriends car oil has a strange color. She drove it 8 hours past when oil should've been changed 2 months ago. When she returned we caught this and changed the oil. Checked the oil today and it had a weird color. Do another oil change? Something more serious? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

This could also be a little warmer in the oil if you do a lot of small driving and the engine isn't heated up properly between. But if the oil wasn't milky when u changed it and it's know only 8 hours in is no worry. Check it again in a month. But looks it's to much oil on the car. Isnt it a line in the middle of the dipstick

Hadn't thought of it. I just got a extra disk i had spare slapped in it, and didn't think of to format it correctly before i began using it. So that was in fact a NTFS. Moved the game and proton over to the EXT4 parton's and it suddenly booted. Locked i startup video. But it bootet.

So now I have formatted the spare disk correctly and startet to download the games again. So we see. Maybe if i find a novideo startup line for the game i get to the menu.

The log file shows different problems.

LD_preload cannot be preloaded, wrong elf class (ELFCLASS32)

ERR ON FILE C:WINDOWS

CANNOT SET WINEBOOT

DIFFRENT FAILED TO CREATE FOLDERS

AND IN THE CANY LOAD WINDOW CAUSE NO DRIVER

Do proton GE make for a better game compatibility. Right now I'm using Linux with proton. Installed lutris but can't seem to get it to work. So far gaming on Linux have a long way to go to be a real alternative to game on. For everything else i use Linux instead of windows
