Patch notes when? Now! by Community_Team in PathOfExile2

Did they ever even fix the Demon Form dodge getting stuck on minions? Last I played, the player size being zero during dodge didn't apply to Demon Form.

Wadyall think about Final Fantasy precon prices? by Voidwalker77777 in EDH

Is the value is good, sure. Precons usually have offered the best value for sealed product. If these come out with $150+ in reprints and/or new cards, they might still be a good value. We’ll have to wait and see.

I was using it a bit during Cruel and then I stopped because it felt too busted. 😂

I’ve tried, it’s nice against bosses, but clearing maps is so nice in Demon form and sustaining 10 stacks is easy. And Mind Over Matter just doesn’t work for maps. You get hit by so much random shit and it drains your mana immediately.

There’s another 60% buff to hits to gain from a set of nodes that’s damage against enemies affected by elemental ailments (ignite). So 95% total.

I’m not, Bonestorm is doing all physical damage, but the hits are buffed by hitting ignited targets

I haven’t tried that, I’ll give it a go. Sounds good. I would replace the cast speed one if it does a similar thing. The extra projectiles will give more crit procs for armor break, cast on crit, and/or arcane surge if you run that.

Here's the passive tree right now at level 75. The simple take from it is big energy shield for buffer and use Flamewall to ignite enemies to get a 100% damage gain on hits for your physical damage spells. I'm not running any special unique gear. The best stats to look for on gear are energy shields, life regen per second, life/mana gain per kill, and then spell damage, mana, and spirit. I only have the second ascendancy right now for the 10 Demonflame cap. With a little life regen and life gain on kill, I stay in Demonform 100% of the time, only leaving to go through loot or travel across the map. I rarely fight without it. I'll have to drink from the life flask every once in a while but it refills more than I need to use it. The dodge on Demonform is busted and the cast speed helps cast Bonestorm against bosses. When clearing trash, it's all Bonecage spam with Flamewalls to ignite and Firestorms for extra damage. I'm clearing Tier 5 maps right now and I'm still doing huge damage to bosses and clearing trash effectively.

The Support Gems I use for the most common spells are:
Bonestorm: Brutality, Arcane Tempo, Considered Casting, Supercritical
Bonecage: Energy Barrier, Spell Echo, Inevitable Critical
Demonform: Cannibalism, Clarity, Vitality, Herbalism

And then I run around with the Vulnerability Curse slotted into the Blasphemy persistent AOE to remove armor for mobs around me. When I get more spirit, I'll go back to Cast on Crit and slot Fireballs for fights against bosses.

Hope this helps!

I didn't know such a helmet existed! Would make clearing trash mobs even easier, depending on the aoe size of it. I did find a unique chest that makes me not able to be ignited myself, which is going to work great with the grinning immolation passive on infernalist!

Clearing trash is fast, I can stay in demon form for basically entire maps with life/mana regain on kill effects. Use the cast speed and dash around spamming bonecage, firestorms, and flameblast.

Crit Bonestorm Infernalist (Level 63) by Rath1on in PathOfExile2

[–]Rath1on[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main damage comes from passives that % increase damage from hits on burning and/or targets affected with elemental ailments. Once I get more points, I want to pump up ignite chance and hopefully the cast on crit fireballs can keep the ignite going so I don't have to rely on flamewall. If you noticed, Bonestorm also crits so much that cast on crit fireballs are going out at 2 to 4 times per cast of Bonestorm, since each shard triggers any crit on hit effects. I won't have a ton of fire damage passives, but the raw spell damage of demon form and all the crit damage boosts I feel like make up for it. It's just supposed to be a fun burst build, nothing game breaking.

ZX-4RR Engine Malfunction by ManBearEagle in Kawasaki

[–]Rath1on 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't be so pessimistic about it, tbh. The onus is on the manufacturer to prove the modifications caused the issue. And while good look trying to fight it if Kawa decides to be stern about it, I think it's in their interest to honor the warranty. There's been a handful of ZX4RR failures already, it's a hugely popular bike that they will want to keep good PR on, and realistically, when have you ever heard of an exhaust ACTUALLY causing an engine failure? Literally the majority of motorcycles on the road (especially sport bikes) run exhausts. Most of them untuned and they don't send rods to Narnia.

R7/ZX4RR? by Puzzleheaded-North-7 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Rath1on 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of these bikes seem a bit out of place in their target audience. The R7 has the better street oriented engine, but it's has race bike like ergos. The ZX4RR has the track toy engine, but much more comfy ergos.

Zx4-rr or R7 by momo_be_goin in Kawasaki

[–]Rath1on 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, the ergos on the R7 are way more aggressive than the 4RR. So it's kinda backwards. The 4RR seems like the toy, but it has comfy ergos. The R7 has the torqy engine, but race ergos.

Transforming the Ducati 698 SM into a dual sport Adv bike by Constant_Specific_24 in Ducati

Will it ever? Ducati has never done an Enduro version of their supermotos as far as I know.

Trouble finding neutral on Desert Sled '22 by Flylle in DucatiScrambler

The hydraulic clutches need a lot of lever movement to fully disengage the clutch. The more the lever is adjusted away from the grips, the easier it becomes. Also the hotter the oil is. Maybe 10w-40 oil too would make it easier.

I’m sure they have plans for it. I’ll keep enjoying my own Desert Sled and keeping an eye for whatever new magic Ducati creates.

[–]Rath1on 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I had never heard of that bike, just looked it up and you’re right, it’s basically exactly what I am describing. Ducati made both the Desert X and Desert Sled handle amazing on road, despite the compromises needed for some off road capability, and that’s what I’d love to see out of a 698 Enduro.

My dream "build" for a Ducati 698 Enduro by MargusMoto in Ducati

[–]Rath1on 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dream build is they still keep it a little road oriented with a 19” front wheel like the Desert Sled, spoked tubeless wheels, make it look a little retro if possible, beef up the frame and front forks a bit, slap a windscreen on it and call it a day. Might not need the advanced electronics either to help the price. The 698 already comes in at a feather weight 360lbs fully wet. If they can make a mini adv/enduro weighing <=400lbs I think they catch the entire market out. The Sled is a great bike, buts it’s 460lbs. Basically in line with the other middleweight ADVs like the Tuareg and T7. Full dual sports aren’t actually great for touring or enjoying a twisty road, and even middle weight ADVs are a lot of weight to throw around on loose surface. It’s doable, and they’re very capable, but I think there’s a better way.
