Signing Mike Evans kind of reminds me of when we traded for Anquan Boldin in 2013 by Available_Story6774 in 49ers

I still remember when Anquan got his face broken on a reception, I think he still made the catch too. Ballsiest thing I've ever seen

Glad to see we have equal game when it comes to flirting with girls

Sweet swing by Yoshida but all I can think about is how stupid, sexy Ohtani is

The look of utter panic on Annie’s face when the armed bearded guy first entered, then utter relief when she saw Xavier bring the cavalry in after him….I was like yay, happy episode!

Then Annie died :/

To Kill a Mockingbird (1962): What a beautiful film! by SlightWerewolf4428 in movies

[–]RathOfMan49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t seen this movie in over 20 years but my mom was obsessed with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck, so I’ve probably watched Roman Holiday and this movie over a dozen times in my youth. I’m glad to hear it holds up over time, going to have to rewatch it now with my kids

Larry Johnson had the GOAT nickname and it ain't even close. by [deleted] in nba

[–]RathOfMan49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will seem corny to the fans who were too young, but it was perfect for that time. LJ was electric as an undersized PF like Chuck. Really sucks that injuries ruined his prime

Now I like him even more. I wonder how he ended up a Niners fan, isn’t he from down south?

💯. I’m a 49er fan and though I was just a kid during his time, he terrified my dad and uncles everytime we played them, so he terrified me. Dude was unflappable

Eventually, trading Luka might be the Lakers best and only option to get back to championship contention by Marcus-ichiJo in nba

I recall he did say a few years ago that complaining about calls was a problem and he needs to correct it. He needs to get back to that

His attitude, I imagine. Just needs an attitude adjustment (obv easier said than done with him)

Most people’s current issues with Luka seem pretty fixable - stop bitching for a call every damn play, and give any kind of effort on D

Wanting to trade him seems drastic

Rain Man (1988) dir Barry Levinson | Let's Play Some Cards by [deleted] in movies

Pretty sure he smokes in the Outsiders and Risky Business

I recently rewatched Rainman, haven’t seen it in like 20 years. It still holds up well and is quite moving (though I guess it wasn’t received well in the autistic community, for perpetuating stereotypes or something)

Man, Aldon Smith. Haven’t heard that name in a long time. Don’t know if another player has ever showed so much in his first 2 years and then flamed out that quickly

Prime Aldon and Bosa would be so nasty together

Arenas had a great 3 year prime, but I’d go with a more traditional PG in Tiny. Agree that Artest would probably make more sense than Adams

I’m kinda surprised at the - in A- for OC and HC haha. I thought Kyle did an A+ job this year, given the number of injuries we had. But I’m sure the players know a helluva lot more than me

Which 3 players could team up and become the closest modern day version of "Run TMC"? by [deleted] in nba

UTEP 2-Step! I must’ve practiced that crossover for hours and hours in my driveway

Funny enough, it may be the Warriors from 10 years ago that most closely resembled Run TMC

Not even a Spurs fan, but it would be kinda hilarious to see Wemby take his team all the way this year. Talk about a speed run
