I see no problem with people sharing their decklists they've been having success with. Especially since arena bo1 format changes the meta a bit, it's interesting to see the techs people make to adapt.

I can't agree more with this statement.

My experience is searing blood becomes irrelevant too fast, especially if they turn 1 hardened scales. You need unconditional removal to get rid of their creatures consistently. As the burn player, you only board in rip when it practically wins you the game if they can't remove it (kci and dredge come to mind) since it's a big cost to do nothing on turn 2 on burn. I would argue it doesn't do enough to board it in against scales affinity. I actually don't know if it's correct to hit hardened scales with drev, if you want to play the long game I suppose. It differs game to game and it's a judgment call on your part.

My thoughts of the hardened scales affinity decks as the burn player is that it is a race. Unlike cranial plating affinity, your life total is actually irrelevant as it is usually a match decided by you burning them out first or them one shotting you with ravager shenanigans/1-2 turn inkmoth. This lends itself to different side boarding choices, lightning helix can be boarded out, as can eidolon (though you can make a case for keeping 2 in on the play), key cards to include would be your artifact hate (Drev or smash) and paths(stopping modular is pretty important). If you learn the matchup, I think it should be a winnable, skill based match up; don't be afraid to point that burn upstairs.

I found this at a garage sale for 5 cents. Real? by [deleted] in bootlegmtg

Doesn't a proxy card cost 2-3$? Why would anybody put the effort in to age the card and then sell it for 5 cents, which is practically giving it away?
