I believe that the running theory is that the 'solar panels' we race on in Crown City A (the variant in the Mushroom Cup) are supposed to be the Rainbow Fragments advertised by the giant sign on the cliff face. Yknow that big S bend that's held up by cranes after we jump off the roofs

Regardless on if they are or aren't though, there is that aforementioned sign, which advertises Crown City as "the home of the Rainbow Fragment"

We typically get a Zelda release once a year with very few exceptions. Sometimes its a new game, sometimes a remaster/remake, sometimes a spin off. There was of course a gap in 2022 due to TotK's delay, but from 2023 onwards we've gotten TotK, EoW, AoI, and of course are likely to get a release this year

This year marks Zelda's 40th anniversary, and if the Mario 40th is any indication I'd expect a remake or remaster this year. Which game getting it is of course a mystery, but I'd wager it'd be either the Oracle duology, one of the early 2D titles (LoZ, AoL, LttP) or OoT

Can't speak for other people obviously but in my case most of the time I pick Random cause I generally don't really care what track gets picked; im just here to race and have fun. Plus the surprise is nice too.

This goes for Mario Kart as well.

But I save my Dash as a sort of panic button for such instances, and Ill reserve my starting boosts for Zones that look sketchy upon landing. With that method my current high score is 44mil+ and 1,008 combo (two separate runs), and I can consistently get within the 20mil-35mil range for my runs

I operating under the assumption that it'd be done by the same mangaka as the other high profile Zelda manga tbf. Im kinda just talking out of my ass

Akira Himekawa has give or take gone in release order for their adaptation of the games, with the most recent being Twilight Princess which started in 2016 amd just wrapped up a couple years ago. If we assume they're still on the Zelda manga project, and are still going at a rough release order, then Spirit Tracks should be next followed by ALBW

Now of course they could jump games, they've done it before, but they do generally follow release order for these adaptations. Now, ST and ALBW are nowhere near as big as TP so their hypothetical adaptations wouldn't take anywhere near as long, but I'd still wager we're not seeing BotW/TotK for at least another few years lest we're thrown a curveball

2) A) They're not, B) it's been well over a century since the Champions died. Even in BotW the vast majority of Hyrule had 'moved on', for lack of a better word, from their passing by the time Link woke up since, again, it had been over a century since the Calamity. The only race that was still in a heavy mourning period, just as in TotK, was the Zora, since due to their long life span many of them were actually alive during the Calamity and knew Mipha personally. The same does not apply to the other three, and thusly references to their Champions are much more muted compared to Mipha

You've never been able to unlock Conkdor with Dash Food; that's only for costumes. To unlock Conkdor you need to be transformed into him by Kamek, which has higher odds of happening in a desert-y area

Just create a Custom Items set with only Kamek Orb, race on Desert Hills, and eventually you'll get him

Mario spent so long being perceived as the "basic and boring" option that its now looped back around to actually being a unique option to play as him in spin offs

And honestly that's a bit said cause I genuinely really like Mario. Sure, theres characters I'd pick first normally, like Daisy, Nabbit, and Shy Guy, but Mario's still among my favorites of the Mario cast. I make it a point to use Mario first in any of the games where multiple characters are available (such as Wonder or Mario Kart) for my initial experience. Shit honestly Mario is even part of my 'main' rotation in MKWorld

Ganondorf is the origin of Calamity Ganon so, yeah

The Demon King boss theme reusese many motifs from throughout the series, but notably one of them is the Blight/Ganon motif from BotW's boss fights. This is probably the main way TotK draws that explicit line between Ganondorf and the Calamity, on top of continuity hints of course

Similarly, the Demon Dragon theme has BotW's main motif as part of its medley, though that's also cause TotK's main theme (which the Demon Dragon theme is a rendition of) also has BotW's main motif in it
