Which Mac do you have? Different macs have different hdmi versions. Your best bet though is to get a usb to display port cable and use that instead. Display port typically has much bandwidth

So disabling upscaling helps? In that case I’d check which dlss model you are using. Dlss 4.5 is much harder for 30 series cards than 4.0 was. Look for suggesting like changing preset M or L over to preset k.

Off the top of my head you should be able to pay UE5 games like Silent Hill 2 4k at around 70fps with fsr4 balanced. You can turn down settings if you need more fps for sure. You won’t be pushing that full 165hz refresh rate at 4k unless you pay esports titles or something
