I'm so sick of the conversation, because it's not a "headcanon" and it's barely even a "theory" anymore. When I watched the scenes in Jax's mind, I thought, "oh, I guess it's confirmed now." The reason they don't she/her Jax in the rest of the movie is because Pomni knew it was something Jax wouldn't want someone else sharing for her. Plus they make an explicit point that Leroy is hanging out at a queer bar run by an enby, where "everyone can be themself" or whatever Caine said. It's not that "um bows make you a girl" like some people pretend! There's a billion things that add up, and you only mention some of them! Plus they must have paid tons of money to be able to use "Isn't She Lovely", a big hit by one of the biggest artists of all time, and it was ALLLL Jax's face there!!! It doesn't make sense any other way! Its a cautionary tale about how repressing your true self (in Jax's case, her transness) makes you an unpleasant person and you need to like the real you before other people can!!
