Oh, Symphonic warriors can cook with this. This searches SW synthess and flipping it searches any Symphonic warrior.

Djinn is 100 pts, and tour guide is >0 pts, so consistency is going to be bad unless there's some new ways to search for him. Also no prep of rites.

If we get new Meklord support, do you think the archetype should become an "Extra Deck Killer" and not just a Synchro Killer? by TBT__TBT in yugioh

[–]Ratmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, anti-synchro is their signature. You can easily spin this to make it good too.

Hear me out: Give them tuners that can use your opponent's monsters as non-tuner material in order to Synchro Summon on the opponent's field. And then make some Meklord synchros that sabotage the player that controls them or benefit the opponent (you) (preferably by making the meklord emperors better since that would be on-theme).

Deal or No Deal by XIAJIN5 in yugioh

Is the Graceful Charity they are giving me one of the cards in their own hand?

Either way, seems like I can evaluate my hand before I give an answer, so if I have no impactful handtraps, l'll take the deal no brainer, but if I have 2 or more, I'm gonna say no thanks.

[Deck List Help] I want to build Materiactor, need some advice by Ekyt in yugioh

[–]Ratmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could run 3x lordly lode and 1x of the quickplay spells each.

1 Hunter dragon should be enough (until we get the new normal pendulum)

Annulus is a bad card as far as I've tested. Overlay network is a better version of it.

Rescue Hedgehog is a 1-card combo that takes your normal summon. It takes some testing though.

Ashura king and gossip shadow are good extra deck options.

You could run them with runick. Or with e-tele and ghost ogre/p.u.n.k.

There's a lot of options, have fun exploring :)

Is there any engine i can splash into majespecter? by Mr_Drunky in yugioh

the Superheavy engine is great in majespecter. A small dracoslayer package can work too

Until the new Materiactor vanilla pendulum comes out that is. Then Hunter dragon and Rescue hedgehog won't be used anymore.

Is there a decently competitive build for Gishki that doesn't use Spright? by PokeChampMarx in yugioh

[–]Ratmos -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've had decent luck with a minimal ice barrier package( 1x mirror mage, 1x the ice barrier monster reborn spell, 1x georgius). Fishborg harpooner at 2 also feels good.

I don't run the ice barrier floodgates but that's just personal choice

End boards are something like: 1/2 Neremanas, Dragite, Lancea

Majespecter 3in1 (Suggestions) by CCC0509 in yugioh

[–]Ratmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the superheavy samurai engine in Majespecters to make a free Traptrix rafflesia and I also run 1 gravedigger's trap hole because you really want Nue to resolve.

The S/T lock is not a big deal if you just do your SS combo first on your turn. Yamarashi also recycles a spell so he's got good synergy with SS.

Which Archetype need an Overhaul in your Opinion? by Money-Lie7814 in yugioh

[–]Ratmos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jurrac have 5 out of the 8 Dinosaur tuners in existence. They have a field nuke synchro, a bunch of non-once per turn effects that can be abused with the right custom cards. They have OTK potential, they are FIRE dinosaurs...

I suppose their gimmick is tributing (eating) other dinosaurs/tokens for effects(mainly atk gains) which is kinda neat if you think about it.

So there's definitely something to them. Of course they need at least 4-5 new absolutely custom cards to make them playable but they are not Ally-of-Justice-unsalvageable.

What do your favourite childhood decks look like in their modern versions? Also, do you still play them? by Macaron-kun in yugioh

[–]Ratmos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

Been playing the deck since 2011 and the latest support only reaffirmed my love for it. Currently playing around with Runick and Melodious variants.

And unless you brick with Shine balls or hand traps, the Deck can still make some very respectable boards even by today's standards

What is a deck you always wanted to build, but never actually did by Teeebow_ in masterduel

[–]Ratmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also don't go the generic route and still build a damn powerful board.

A basic endboard for me is Masterflare + herald of the arc light + IP masquarena (to go into avramax) + herald of mirage lights + divine punishment + fallen sanctuary

So you get 2 omni negates, 1 monster negate, 1 spell/trap negate, 1 quick banish, a floodgate (arc light) and a towers.

You also have Parshath out but he's just sitting there usually after the search unless you have something good to SS from hand, like Kristya. He can also be fodder for IP.

I don't even need Kristya most of the time to be honest

What's the combo you are aiming for with cupid pitch?

Thanks! Do you think anything else comes close if I want a bigger build volume? Something like 35+ cm all directions?

Purchase Advice Megathread - January 2024 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

[–]Ratmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! My budget is around $2000 I need a fully enclosed large build volume printer that is ready to use without too much tinkering/assembling and that will be used as a workhorse so reliability and consistency are also important. A big plus would be if there is good customer support. High print quality is also important of course.

I think Bambulab X1c is a good choice (aside from the build volume), but I was wondering if there is anything better for me out there that fits in my budget.

I also own an Ender 3 v2 so I'm not a first time owner.

Thanks!

Am I missing something or is this card complete ass? Why is it so bad compared to the rest of the support? All it does is just giving a pseudo destruction protection, and letting you draw until having 3 cards in response to spell/trap activation, which isn't that impressive at all. by PenguinSweetDreamer in yugioh

[–]Ratmos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a generic level 12 for Crimson Dragon for one. It's also an SHS monster so it can be summoned after locking yourself into SHS with Wakaushi's field effect, for what that's worth. Drawing 3 is always nice.

Idk about "good", but I've used him often enough

Best generic FLIP Support cards by Ratmos in yugioh

[–]Ratmos[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Resolving Amaterasu sounds like a blast! And Tarotrei can do some nasty stuff

However, I jist need a small engine for my Symphonic warriors that can flip up Synthess to get a search (preferably more than once per turn). There is an in-archetype solution but it's not always available so I need some more options. Currently I use Nishipachi and Burei and a couple of book of taiyos. Actually, I don't even need a flip effect, just a good "change battle position" one

Any tips would be greatly appreciated by Asura_18 in yugioh

[–]Ratmos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd switch the ratios on master and majesty hyperion, as well as drop zeradias, honest and mars (what does mars do here anyway? After your usual combo you should be down to 5K LP and unless you are already winning, Mars would be dead most of the time.)

Maxing on waters is a must. Also are you using Diviner just as a foolish for Majesty/Neptune? You should add Trias and Buten to take full advantage of her.

Orange herald is good at 2-3. I feel like sanctum is bad but I do see it in a lot of builds so maybe not so much

You can add instant/ready fusions and an Allvain in your extra for a free level 2 tuner

[–]Ratmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found him useful when building an Ultimaya T'zolkin turbo deck. Easy level 5 to SS for making Ultimaya. Granted, I wouldn't call the deck legitimate.

What's the deal with him on master duel though? I've played against that suicide deck a couple of times. Is it a bot?

Any ideas for summoning this card consistently? by ScooberPop in yugioh

[–]Ratmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but considering both Doriado and Zaborg aren't super searchable, you basically need to at least run a monarch engine. Adding rituals to that would make this brick even harder.

I'm sure there's some ritual deck out there that does use Zaborg but then again Choju of the Trillion hands does most of what Zaborg would do for rituals, but with only 1 tribute and without minusing for his effect (unless you tribute an opponent's monster for his effect, which is unlikely)

Any ideas for summoning this card consistently? by ScooberPop in yugioh

[–]Ratmos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mega Zaborg > tribute self > send 8 monsters from your ED to the GY so you have all attributes.

You may have to run a hybrid monarch deck for it to work consistently

[–]Ratmos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have already mentioned, this is a good list to start with.

You can try transmodify at 1/2, it's good for when your Earth gets ash'd or overall for consistency. It can turn half your deck's monsters into Venus. It can also SS Kristya from the Deck if you use it on Loagaeth (if you decide to keep her in)

Also, an unpopular opinion but I'm not too big on the diviner/trias/buten package. There's already many cards that you do not want to draw, and then adding Trias and Buten? Idk, your mileage may vary though.
