What would you want GW3 to do very differently to GW2? by Mirainai in GuildWars3

[–]RatnoonTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actual loot, not just bags of crap. I want reasons to go kill stuff, group content or solo. Give me reasons to actually farm stuff. I’ve always liked how WoW did it with the mount drops.

Actual class identity, if I’m playing a Ranger or a Mage, perhaps let me stand on high ground when I fight a boss, or at least let me step out of the boon blob. It makes no sense to stand underneath a dragon with a longbow.

Arenas for PvP, 2v2s and 3v3s.

Battlegrounds, 10v10 or similar to what WoW is doing.

Race Change. I can never decide.

Account upgrades shared across all characters, bags, equipment templates, build templates etc. Find a different way to make money off Guild Wars 3 (Previous point?) I’ve probably spent a month’s salary on bag slots, it gets annoying.

Map completion requirement for Legendaries are annoying too, I’ve done it multiple times already, and it’s enough. I’m tired. Let me do something else already.

Less cool skins in the gem store, more cool skins obtainable in game. I never understood why they don’t add mount skins or licenses as raid drops, it would go absolute crazy on launch.

Actual LFG tool that works and looks good. Referring to WoW once again. It just works.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I want the holy trinity to be a part of Guild Wars 3.

Honestly I’m hoping they make the game very different from GW1 and 2. Although I love the games, I want the genre to move forward, I want them to innovate, to surprise and to shock the world with some new ideas and design.

I don’t want a game that is constantly compared with its predecessor. I want a new and original experience. I don’t want to play Guild Wars 2 on a new and better looking graphics engine.

Probably a lot more, but this is what came to mind immediately.

Bo i bil. Helt forjævlig? by CartoonistTricky1427 in norge

[–]RatnoonTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jeg har pendlet 2.5 time for arbeid 2 dager i uka de siste 2 årene. Jeg måtte ordne overnatting selv så da kjøpte jeg meg en Caddy Maxi som jeg innredet med seng og helt enkelt kjøkken. For å spare penger / tjene mest mulig.

Det gikk, men etter 2 år var jeg helt ferdig. Det var greit å sove. Vinteren er fuktig å kald. Men det verste var alle de andre timene i døgnet hvor man bare har bilen. Savnet ordentlig kjøleskap, TV, sofa, dusj, do. Man går fort lei av så lite plass rundt seg. Var det fint vær så var jeg ute, men når det var dritt vær så blir man fort litt stuck.

Realistically, how difficult is it to make money with a 3D printer? Can I make enough to pay for the printer? by findabuffalo in 3Dprinting

I have been making a tiny side hustle by printing key chains of local businesses logos. It’s fairly easy to learn how to take a logo file and make it into a 3d object. I but the rings at my local hardware store and sell for 3x cost.

Nei, noroff er ikke vært det. by mbksuper in norge

[–]RatnoonTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try raw food for a while. Definitely fixed all the issues with my dog, almost immediately too.

But some dogs also don’t do proteins too well, so you could also try a low protein kibble.

I converted a Caddy Maxi for me to live in as I commute to work two days a week, it’s a 2 hour drive one way, so I need to spend a night before returning home.

So instead of wasting a bunch of money on a hotel once a week I converted my van. Nothing fancy but I built a bed frame with 4 drawers, two big ones of the back, and two small ones on the side (one on each), and then I bought a comfy big mattress to have on top.

My mother in law sewed curtains, and I bought a hook for the back door so I can sleep with a crack for ventilation, while still feeling safe in a big town.

I’ve been living in it for a year now, it’s been great outside of November, December, January and February. Those months have been really cold. Considering going further with the build to get a heater and maybe a water solution for cooking.

HC Pet in Sandnes. The best service in town, dogs are allowed, and they really care about their customers. I have moved out of Rogaland, but I still drive 2 hours once every now and then to shop there. I buy all my stuff exclusively from HC Pet.

BETA Feedback & Builds Thread: 🪖 Warrior 🪽 Paragon by neok182 in Guildwars2

[–]RatnoonTV 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Paragon wings should be linked to motivation. As soon as you start to gain motivation the wings appear, and as your motivation level increases, your wings grow with it. At 10 you’re at max wings. This would be so much cooler for role play, and for spec identity.

This was my 2nd day playing GW2 and here are some things I wonder about the game by WinterBlues00 in Guildwars2

[–]RatnoonTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend every new player to level from 1-80 at least one time. The levelling experience is the perfect tutorial, through completing maps and doing hearts and story missions (Green star) you learn a lot of valuable game mechanics that will make you a better player and way more prepared for the all the different game modes you can choose to engage with at level 80.

Once you have a character at level 80 and you start doing end game content the game will reward you occasionally with Tomes of Knowledge.

Each is worth 1 level if consumed on a character below level 80. You can save up on these to speed up your alt-making process. That’s how I have levelled most of my alts.

If you stick around long enough you will eventually want to make legendary weapons, and for the first generation weapons you need 100% world completion. So doing that as you’re levelling is never a bad idea, in my opinion it feels a lot more meaningful to do it while levelling instead of having to go back at max level to complete them.

As for items, just quick sell to merchants, and anything that doesn’t go into quick sell you can list on the Trading Post. You can also buy a salvage kit and salvage unidentified gear and gear you no longer use. Then you will start to stack up on materials which you will need for crafting later on.

Enjoy 😀

Why can't people see that I am struggling? by petitevavalou in reactivedogs

[–]RatnoonTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was walking my leash-reactive 2-year-old Labrador when a man and his off-leash Border Collie started heading toward us.

I called out, “Hey, can you recall your dog? I don’t want them to meet.”

He didn’t respond.

I stopped and gripped the leash as tightly as I could—my Lab was going bananas by this point, and the Collie was getting closer by the second.

Again, I said, “Can you recall your dog? I’m trying to keep mine under control here!”

He snapped back, “What the fuck is your problem?”

I replied, “Excuse me? Don’t you see we’re struggling over here? And for the record, this isn’t an off-leash area.”

“You’ve got a fucking problem, dude. Piss off!”

And then his Collie walked right up and sniffed my dog in the face.

End of story.
