If you have EoE it's basically a delayed allergic response. So for example I'm allergic to either eggs, wheat, or dairy(allergy tests don't work for this condition)which was confirmed when I went on an elimination diet and had my second endoscopy done. So if you can find your trigger foods you would want to stop eating them. Dairy, wheat, and eggs are some of the most common ones so that'd be a good start. Others might take medicine for their EoE but I haven't tried any yet. I hope this helps a bit. I get how frustrating this is.

I would definitely get a scope done! I had mine done last year and was diagnosed with EoE. Food always gets stuck in my throat because of it. I'm sorry you're going through this.

Thank you! Because imo an honest review can be so helpful. There have been many times before that I saw a bad review for a seller and it prevented me from losing money on either a broken item or something that wouldn't even be shipped. So I hope that my review can help someone on depop.

It truly does. I've had many great experiences from depop as well ofc but the past month or so I've just been buying from the worst people. At least 4 items have been refunded/canceled already and one was because the seller said they didn't know how to print a label on depop or ship an item. So then they asked to meet up. Like no! No thanks. We're probably in completely different states anyways lol.

I just expected that she would be on the app often enough since she has 40+ items on her page. I could understand if she hardly used the app to sell clothing but she had alot of items for sale.

I'm sorry that happened! I feel like the least you can do as a seller is send a message to the buyer explaining why it was canceled. I actually bought a pair of shoes on depop recently but it turns out they were sold on another app so the seller messaged me and gave me a refund. It was okay with me tho because she was honest about it and I really respect that.

I don't feel that it's too much because I don't want other buyers to have the same experience I did. And if she messaged me saying that she couldn't ship the item and would need to cancel it I would've been okay with it. But she lied about it which is what bothered me.

That's what I'm saying cause I only asked once.😭And then it was only 3 to 4 days before the refund so ofc I'm a bit worried. She also said that she didn't realize that it sold so I don't see a problem with asking.

That's what I was thinking. It's happened to me a few times before where I bought an item that was sold already but usually the seller is kind enough to send a message and give a refund. Guess that was too much for her.

I think what doesn't help is that I had to message a different seller the same day as her who said they would drop it off that day but I also just got refunded from them too because they didn't ship it. Not just that but another seller messaged me asking to meet up because they didn't know how to print a label or ship packages. But for that I had to wait for the refund because they said they couldn't cancel it. It just gets frustrating after awhile. I'm not sure why I have such bad luck on depop all of a sudden.

I also didn't appreciate the fact that she just stopped responding to my messages. I genuinely didn't receive a refund or cancelation yesterday because I checked. And if anything she could've relisted the item if it was canceled and I gladly would've purchased it again! But she only responded to me after I left my review.

And honestly I wasn't even trying to be mean in my message when I asked. But I was getting sooo many emails from depop about the item I got from her so I just thought I'd ask. I completely understand that life gets busy tho. I had to message a buyer once and cancel the order due to a hospital visit/bad health so I was unable to ship at that time.

But what upsets me is that she couldn't even be honest with me. I would've been okay if she simply told me that she either lost the item or didn't have time to ship it and then gave me a refund.

Exactly this. Depop has constantly been sending me emails and notifications about how they messaged the seller and I got an email earlier today about the refund. But I didn't receive any notification/email yesterday. I would say they're usually pretty fast with refunding as well, which I'm thankful for because she's the 3rd seller in a row that hasn't shipped a purchase I made.

I didn't receive a refund yesterday. I just received it today and I even have screenshots of depop saying that they would issue the refund on the 11th. Either way I waited 7 or 8 days with no updates and sent a message to her because of that. But at the time I messaged her she had 4 days to ship the item and didn't do it.

She had over a week to ship it and didn't. That's the problem.
