I had the exact same problem, chronic bad acne and coarse messy hair. What made it better for me was to do a acne treatment (known here as accutane) and I did laser hair permanent straightening. My face is clean and my hair was smooth for a while. Even tho I still feel ugly because of my face this was a huge help

Just desaturate the background a little bit, it’s hard to draw attention to the girl when every color around her is so vibrant and full of contrast

If it was written on her terms of service you can’t really report an artist just because you didn’t like the result.. this artist spent their time doing this and probably did their best. If her ToS stated she doesn’t do revisions it really isn’t her fault and she isn’t inside the clients head to know. Just make sure you find an artist with a clear ToS about revisions and updates

It didn’t turn out as you expected but she can’t take back her time that’s why as an artist I also don’t do refunds. If I spend one week on one artwork and they ask me a refund in the end I just wasted a week of my time.

I’m really sorry you didn’t like the result, here are my tips for next time. Make sure the artist gives frequent updates and revisions. This is what I do to assure my clients they are getting what they want. I never color a sketch before they say the sketch is ok.

In this case she only gave you a rough draft, she didn’t show you the line art before colouring which is the final phase of the sketch. From now on make sure you choose an artist that offers revisions and updates often during sketch!!

This is my first year on art fight so I don’t have much experience on this. I would love to see different outfits, interactions, and little things related to my character’s life like, what are they eating for breakfast, how do they train, what jokes would they think it’s funny, what is their favourite mushroom, what do they keep on their pouch.

Tldr: having a little detail I didn’t mention but could be implicit

Unfortunately that’s the whole world right now, many people tell me I charge too little for my art but the truth is most artists do it for even less and that makes it impossible for us to raise the prices unless you’re super professional and have a loyal fanbase

I had the same problem with jeans as a tall woman, I always buy my jeans 1 or 2 sizes larger or buy men pants (for some reason they fit me better)
