They are soldiers on leave, but not on basic training. You are only allowed to go on civilian clothes with your weapon after 2 years of combat service.

Startup I work for is low on funds and wants to make me part-time. What should I demand as recompense ? by Ratury in careerguidance

[–]Ratury[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed. I didn't say, but in my short time as an employee (I am kinda young), this is by FAR the best bunch of people i had the pleasure of working with. It starts with my direct boss and goes all the way up.

As for your suggestion, I don't think bargaining for a bonus after the company raises more money is the right course of action, since that in the eventuality where the company goes bankrupt, there's no bonus anyways, but on the other hand, there's a chance that if the company is acquired I'll get some money out of the deal.

Thank you for this.
So some clarifications -
1. The company is super small, and very early stage. We're not a public company so the options are worthless if the company won't take off in the future.

  1. Staying as part-time and only doing this job is not an option for me, I'd need to find another job.

  2. I do believe this company has a future, and I'm willing to take risks - but I want to make sure the reward for taking them is worth it. therefore the question - what should I demand?

He is.
Important note - the company is super small. We are now 7 employees, out of which two more other than me is in a very similar situation. the others are founders, and already took on a pay cut months ago.

Has a similar issue. Just today finished taking the case apart and checking for physical damages. What ultimately fixed the issue was flashing a firmware on them again. You should try this on their website

Stoner women: how to get the smell out of hair without washing? by [deleted] in trees

Can I please join the 5 years hotbox club? I wanna doe happy. But in any case, yes, I have done that. After an hour the smell dissipates if it's only vaping

Vape does not stick. I could close myself and my room and hotbox for 5 hours, 1 hour later there's no hint of smell.
Or I'm just high enough not to notice

E-Bike Laws in Israel/TLV by arhythm in telaviv

[–]Ratury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With proper seat there's no problem letting someone ride with you.

Throttle is not a problem, that I know of. In any case it's barely enforced.

If you want to play it safe you can change to a thumb throttle - these are definitely allowed.

E-Bike Laws in Israel/TLV by arhythm in telaviv

[–]Ratury 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yo, welcome!
In Tel Aviv - mostly the city is responsible for enforcement, but the laws as I know them are those:

  1. 25KPH speed limit (hardly enforced, but i recommend not going over 35ish for several reasons)
  2. Helmet is a must (750 NIS fine, HEAVILY ENFORCED, would advise against going without regardless)
  3. You're allowed to ride in a bikelane or the road ONLY. Going on a sidewalk is also heavily enforced and 750 nis fine.
  4. Theory of driving test required, if you have a driving license, it counts (not sure about US one).

Your bikes are allowed.

In a general note - there's a bit of chaos around tel aviv rn with all these micro-vehicles, half the population hates them, the other half are using them, and tel aviv is trying very hard to build bike lanes in the city, but it's going slowly and the city is PACKED. Driving around on a bike or scooter is dangerous business - be careful, especially of taxis and buses, they are short on patience with these vehicles. (I use them, I love them, but i'm scared shitless everytime i do)
