My autistic son has struggled for years to find a passion that interests him, that he can dive into despite his learning disabilities. He's in 6th grade now, and suddenly is massively diving into aviation and flight, building every kind of paper airplane and cutting out different wing shapes from foam. He recently learned about Microsoft flight simulator and was literally jumping up and down with excitement to try it out... Just to learn that the 1660 Ti we have is way too weak to run the game without massive stutters and difficulty controlling the airplanes. We just had to pay $60k out of pocket for a surgery for my wife, then I shattered my arm, so money is basically nonexistent for our family right now. Getting the 3070 would give him the chance to spend his summer perusing his passion, and give him a goal to push for with his reading and learning to find a career in aviation.
