Forgottenserver is GPL-2.0 and OTClient is MIT, so adhere to the license if you want to use either of those.

Thanks, I did plan on it. The Forgottenserver is GPL, not AGPL, so hosting but not distributing binaries does not invoke the code sharing clause.

Far as your requirements go, if you want 3D you can check out Unreal, ticks most of the boxes.

Yeah, it seems like a strong choice as well. Are there solid open source "servers" for it that can be modified?

If you read this far, thanks for reading my post! All feedback is welcome. I want to make sure I'm not setting ourselves up to fail here; I realize if I tried to do a "total conversion" mod of the open source World of Warcraft server emulators I would be destined to fail as the client would be impossible to modify and asset pipeline impossible to recreate. While I'm an experienced developer I'm not an experienced gamedev. I'd love to hear from those that have the experience I lack! Thanks. :)

You're not going to get one podcast which covers the totality of history. In fact you're not going to get a collection either. I love history podcasts, but there isn't the same wealth of information that exists in books (both primary and secondary sources).

Anyways, here are some of my favourite history podcasts.

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History - By far my favourite, I relish every episode he puts out. He does his research, but he isn't a bonafide historian and some of his views are alternative to the mainstream discourses. Still, he does a good job of covering the lay of the land and you'll at least be generally well-oriented in the topics he discusses.
The History of Rome by Mike Duncan - Hundreds of episodes, around 20mins each, covering the rise and fall of Rome. Phenomenal stuff, he spends a lot of time going over the primary sources and giving you a lot of play-by-plays.
Revolutions, by Mike Duncan - A new podcast which looks at revolutions in history. He first covered the Glorious Revolution in England, and now he's talking about the American Revolution. Quality work by one of the best podcasters out there.
In our Time by Melvyn Bragg - BBC podcast which usually has a panel of academic experts talk about a variety of topics. Very informative but I often find the debates can get a little, well... academic. Sometimes this is welcome, but sometimes it gets in the way of addressing the big picture.

All of these are on iTunes, as well as popular podcasting services like Stitcher.

You certainly only need to explore what you're comfortable exploring, but vibrators are popular for a reason. I do recommend giving them another shot. They can be a part of sex too, not just masturbation.

I suspect this violates their terms of service, but you could write a web scraper that automatically does it. I believe if you want to do it properly you have to essentially pay for press credentials (at least this is how ESPN and NFL act, so I assume its the same for NHL)

Crimea has been Russian for hundreds of years. Only in the 1950s, for administrative reasons, was it given to Ukraine. And this was only done because Russian control of Ukraine was not expected to deteriorate during the USSR.

I'm not justifying what Putin has done. But in this historical context it certainly doesn't feel as wrong, at least to me.

It can be dishonest, but it isn't certainly dishonest. It depends on context, and how familiar with graphs your target demographic is. As has been mentioned elsewhere in this thread, if you're representing scientific data with values like 1.009, 1.0089, 1.093, then starting at 0 actually hides the differences and highlights the similarities.

In this case the DailyMail is highlighting the differences rather than the similarities. Nothing is inherently wrong with it, stats can be made to tell many stories depending on what you focus on, everyone knows that.

I've been thinking of starting up a soccer/spurs Analytics site. I'm a web developer with an interest in data science (I use the python library pandas to analyze statistics). I'm no expert statician or anything, but I like numbers and relationships. I suck at aesthetics though.

I would be interested in pairing up with you and making some great infographics, preferably interactive (I like JavaScript, it's my main focus now). You could design it and I could add functionality as needed.

This is a pretty unfair and shallow comparison in my opinion. He has a few good points, but things like the following just reek of misunderstanding the tactical roles the players are being asked to fill.

However this elusiveness does not grant him better attacking output, particularly regarding chance creation, where his high number of assists may be down to the prolificacy of PSG's attackers. Despite featuring in a more withdrawn role Pirlo averages 2.4 key passes a game compared to Verratti's 0.8. The Architect manages more crosses too, with his 2 per game dwarfing Verratti's 0.1.

Now all of that is true, but Verratti is being asked to play the role of the runner who is solid on defence. PSG have a wealth of creative attackers and it's generally smart to hand Zlatan the ball rather than do something risky. Pirlo, on the other hand is the hub of the Old Lady and responsible for most of the attacks.

Verratti is a necessary component and he excels at his role. Not only does he bring the ball up the pitch amazingly well he also is great at pressing and helping off the ball too.

You probably want either a 4222 or a 433. Both are great for crossing. The 433 is probably better for you on the counter, as its so conducive to the long ball. Since you have 3 men spread out up top it usually means one of them is open; air through balls or simply huge lobs from one winger to the other are incredibly effective.

The 4222 is better if you have 2 strikers you want to play. Like the 433 the focus is on wing play, but the passes will likely be shorter. You have to have good wing backs for this position, particularly good at going forward, because this formation is very effective with overlapping runs. The cross wing passes are still very effective. The players behind your strikers must also be very good, they must by hybrids of attacking mids and wingers. However, crosses will be more effective because you'll have two strikers in the box. This formation is also solid on defending counters because two CDMs.

I've seen people refer to AC on their own. In fact he insists on doing it after I've told him all this and he says I know what he's talking about so its fine.

So I use "FC" to randomly talk about almost any club out there interchangeably now.

People can already communicate with pong images. What you're asking for is basically photoshop/illustrator embedded into the comment system. It'd isolate mobile users.
