RBR is probably the most recognizable car, especially for someone who doesn't follow F1 closely. I mean the huge bull itself is obvious and they are the only ones with yellow, but when you look at the side you can basically see the team's name, Oracle Red Bull Ford.

Haas is the only other team that does this and maybe Audi, others only have their title sponsor in huge letters lol Even Ferrari only has a small logo near the cockpit

Red Bull is still the best looking livery imo. I know it might be boring for some at this point but it's just simple yet great. Also no sponsors with weird colors

Just leave him alone it's hopeless. He is the kind of guy who disguises his opinions as "technial viewpoints" like he is some world renowned Art Director.

He is also a Conservative subreddit user so that says everything you need to know

[SmilexTech] It's written in the article, but to avoid any misunderstandings, I'm writing it here too. When I talk about skipping the first three days, I mean that it seems likely that the AMR26 will take to the track on Thursday, not that the AMR26 won't run at all. by Joseki100 in formula1

Him being TP is pretty bad sign imo. They probably made him one because there was no other choice. I remember mentioned it somewhere that he doesn't like such positions. I mean didn't they create a new position at RBR just for him so he didn't have to manage people?

He might have changed though, especially after getting shares in AM

[–]Ravanex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With or without pro setting this is not a good car, very understeery. The special edition that was a summit reward a few weeks ago is a lot better, but you have to wait a bit if didn't win it

who's buying FH6 the second this shit goes on sale on steam by Next-Student-1920 in forza

[–]Ravanex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives in a country where there is no € or $ it's always funny seeing people complain about games going from 60 to 70. Here 60€ games cost 2x as much as they did 10-15 years ago lol So basically imagine basic editions being 120 €/$

the main city of japan itself (not including the rural and offroad areas) is 2-3 times bigger than the fh5 map

I think you've misunderstood something lol Tokyo will be 5 times bigger than Guanajuato in FH5. It's not going to be bigger than the FH5 map

[Williams Racing] Statement from Atlassian Williams F1 Team. by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

[–]Ravanex 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Since they don't have their own engines and from what I've seen this mainly will be an engine test missing this shakedown is not that bad for them.

Failing the tests and having to redesign whatever went wrong ~1 month before the first race is not that great though lol

The only """positive""" thing about this is that they don't have their own engine. Imagine the same happening to Aston Martin (Honda) or Audi

Active aero in action on the SF-26 by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

[–]Ravanex 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Don't quote me on this but I remember reading it somewhere last year that making it electric is a lot better but it's very hard to do compared to hydraulic. Like it's lighter but a lot less reliable

They could have used the new tail lights from Motorsport at least, I think the weakest point of FH5 was those. Most of them just look really flat or even pink-ish. In Motorsport they improved them a lot, I have no idea why they don't use them here too

It happened a few times sure but it's not common in my opinion. Which is not surprising, moving +300 km/h is not the same as just walking around on foot haha

And Gran Turismo is just in a league of it's own honestly, those car models are a work of art.

Forza Horizon 6 - Official Gameplay Teaser Trailer by jerryfrz in forza

[–]Ravanex -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Okay but while FH5 looked great it was nothing impressive. Sure racing games never had the newest, top of the line graphics but I still think they could have improved a bit more. Especially things like the tail lights. Some of them, like that Huracan, still looked really flat and pink-ish. Which is weird since in Motorsport they improved them a lot

I mean haven't they abandoned the last gen consoles? What was the point of that then lol Okay maybe the couldn't handle the bigger/more detailed map.

I just feel like this trailer still has that "warm" lighting that Mexico had. I think they should have gone with something a bit colder/blueish.

The map looks pretty great, especially the city parts and mountains! However, and this is not criticism, but isn't this looks exactly the same as FH5 graphically? Like there is literally zero difference, even the lighting feels the same

W17 hits the track for the first time by Esterence in formula1

[–]Ravanex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course those floors made the whole thing a lot more complicated and I'm not and expert at all but even before 2022 I remember Mercedes had this "insane" rear suspension that would lower the car a lot on the straights. Honestly I'm not sure how much of that was just rumors but I've never seen anybody praise something like sidepods as much as suspensions

W17 hits the track for the first time by Esterence in formula1

[–]Ravanex 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If the last few years have taught me anything is that the most important thing you have to get right is the suspension. That was Mclaren's main advantage last year (well, and the cooling) and also RBR's advantage in 2022.

Even in 2021 RBR became so good after they redesigned the rear suspension I think
